Worst LIPO battery EVER. Bought on Jan 6th 2025 for a project I'm doing. This was a good deal for the specs and I have bought a lot of no name battery packs before. Finally was getting close to needing it and I put it on the charger to bring it out of storage charge. What would you know, charger alarmed out with cell fault. Ok no big deal I was a two pack grabbed the other batter and it was at 0.0v across ALL cells. Now I'm out the money because I'm out of the return window for Amazon AND their customer support doesn't reply to the live chat or email. What a joke. Trash. Don't work. Don't buy these.

One battery arrived way imbalanced with 2 cells around 1vdc which is below the damage threshold. Hopefully I can save it. That being said, the other battery performs great. Massive punch power. Had to install wheelie bar on Redcat volcano. Size and weight is awesome. Not much bigger than my zeee 2S 5000mah and fits in battery tray with oem strap. Other 3S batteries I have to zip tie.Update: Received unsolicited message from the seller offering a full refund and hope I give them another chance. Couldn’t quite save the damaged battery so I shall take them up on the offer and order a replacement.

I like these 5000s better then most because they are smaller and with the hundred C rating they still pack quite a punch so I think it's a very good trade-off compared to let's say the 120C versions because these are so much smaller where you can really fit them into more battery trays as well as using them for airplanes the smaller length is definitely appreciatedI fly many of this company's batteries in all my airplanes and I'm trying them in cars now too they always put out a high quality product the balance of the packs came in very good, however they were at a very low voltage for storage I quickly remedied that encyclical them a few times to see how durable they are like I said this company is product is always pretty good.The packaging is nice most companies just give you a cardboard box with no graphics at all these guys slap the sticker on it as well as a printing of the sky is the limit as well as a checkered sort of crosshatch background very well packaged I'd say and. Sticker!!The one thing I would like them to pay attention to is more folks are using EC3 now they come with this XD60 which doesn't fit into EC3 so it's kind of a pain I have to solder every time, not that I would like to embark upon that argument with anyone I give recognition to XD60 it has been around for a long time and many love it.

I purchased two identical batteries on 6/29/24. I only tried one and missed the 30 day return window. I have one completely dead new battery, no voltage at all so it has not been used. I emailed Ovonic and they said to go through their Amazon store. Guess what?!? Their Amazon store took me back to the exact website where they denied my claim by referring me back to Amazon. I am terribly disappointed, I count 6 Ovonic batteries I use and had planned to buy more. If this is their idea of warranty service, I'll buy elsewhere. I will update this if they help me out and give me some warranty credit. Store owners: don't offer two years warranty if you don't mean it!It's been 3 days, nothing from Ovonic via email or thru Amazon. I sent Ovonic a direct email. I'll give them longer, I have a lot of their batteries and hope they will support their warranty.

Good Lipo great price will purchase againI got two sets and they both seam to be holding up in my RC boat

I had some buddies who use these, so I wanted to give them a shot. I bought a pack of 2, which, when I went to charge, had zero charge. Wouldn't even register. We got two replacements, and the first one did the same thing! Finally on the 4th battery, it will take a charge. At this point I'm not so sure about these. With the quality control I've seen so far, I don't even know if I want these time bombs inside my garage.

Best batteries on the market and the price is right

Decent set of batteries. They charge decently fast, about 1- 1 1/2 hours in balance mode on my Tenergy charger. A little long for most of my rigs but I make them work. I've had them about 4 months and 1 cell in 1 of the batteries is dead. Can't even use the little "charge in Nimh to boost the cell" trick. Battery 2 is a goner.
