This is the best boxed product I have ever used! I bought it to remove a nasty Feria residue 2-tone color done 2 weeks ago on hair that is usually demi perm colored, bleached last time last fall. Processed for 40 minutes, took my Level 7 to a very pale yellow. Still kinda brassy, but I could care less as I am going to go strawberry blonde. This has damaged my hair far less, even without Olaplex, than bleaching with powder and developer, and far cheaper, since I don't need to regularly bleach, than buying a quart of developer and a tub of bleach powder. Post color blue conditioner isn't really enough to offset brassiness, but I don't care, as mentioned above, just FYI. I did put coconut oil on my midlengths and ends to protect it, and this does not affect bleaching power at all. Very pleased with the result. Hard to believe how soft and UNdamaged my hair feels! Nice to get a good result, since home diy is usually a crapshoot!

I believe I actually purchased 2 of these diy home kits. I absolutely love them and just think they are wonderful. I read a lot of reviews about box dyes and have heard some horror stories when it comes to box dyes in general but I have always used box dyes and have never had a horror story to tell. This particular dye though did, really was less damaging then most previous ones I've tried. I've always bleached my hair and I already have thin fine hair so I always have a lot of breakage hapoening. This stuff made my hair feel soft and quite nice actually. I will be purchasing again.I do have a purple underneath in this pic but the blonde is from using this product

UPDATE: Not only was the box open and the blonde booster packet missing but the hair color itself was the wrong one. It was labled 5.72 which is an auburn.The product is fine. I love this color. My problem is with the seller BIG BEN'S MALL. The box of hair dye was already open and the sachet blonde booster packet is missing. I had to contact Amazon and got a refund because they won't let me return it.

The smell is pretty strong, but that’s typical for lighteners. That said, I experienced absolutely no burning or discomfort with this product, and it worked extremely well to lighten my reddish-brown hair to a very pale blond. It mixes up to a nice consistency. The included blue conditioner tones very well and removed all brassiness, but I also like to use a purple shampoo for continued toning. My only complaint would be the awkward way you have to push the plug in on the developer bottle — it seems like there could be a better way to engineer that, unless the plug dropping inside is meant to aid mixing...? Kind of weird. But all in all a great bleaching product!

This hair dye made my hair fall out... there's no way in hell I'm taking a picture or video of my hair falling out I can go to Walmart and buy hair dye is cheap as they got it and my hair does not fall out the moment I used your product my hair started falling out I want to file a lawsuit against you think this is a motherfuking game

Fair bleach for hair, at first it looks really great but I have to say I have noticed that after buying this twice that the color seems to fade much faster than it does when I purchase this product from CVS. I'm not sure if this which us sold on Amazon has failed product testing or if its expired but it has faded after only 3 weeks vs a full 6 weeks when I purchase it at my local pharmacy

This is the only thing that finally took out the blue in my hair! First box lasted far longer than the typical 28 washes it claims, and your hair is more likely to grow faster than the color will fade. Also, first time I looked in the mirror with my hair cut as short as it was with this near icy color, I started having flashbacks to watching Keifer Sutherland's character in "Lost Boys". Same shade (and that was on dark brown hair the first time). Regardless of the color you put it on, it always leaves the same flawless shade. Plus, the conditioner that comes with it smells lovely!
