Nice product for young soccer players- would have been good if velcros had longer surface areas
Works pretty well and as advertised. Satisfied with the purchase.The good thing about these is that kids can wear them in summer without the long soccer socks (especially in sunny hot days)!!Since these are for youths and young kids, would have been good if velcros had longer surface areas (longer velcros for easy attachment and secure fit, hence knocked off a star.I had to put extra velcros at the back to fit my son's leg size... otherwise very good.

Straps are too loose, but good otherwise.
Bought these for my 5 year old for soccer. They provide good coverage and seem sturdy. The only problem is that the straps are too loose for his legs and where the velcro is placed meant he was complaining that it itches when moving around. We resolved it by getting some stick on Velcro patches so that we can attach the straps tighter, so something to keep in mind if your kid is smaller.

Good guards for use under socks
These were perfect for my 5 year old. We actually cut the straps off because they seemed unnecessary. The ankle strap was too long and the calf strap wasn't long enough. But if you put them under socks you don't need straps anyway. If you are looking for a pair to go over the top of the socks these might not work as well.

They have been using them perfectly like that.
A little to big for my boys(7 & 9 year old), I had to cut out the straps bc they were unconformable (too long for their leg size).They have been using them perfectly like that... :P

picture that states 2-pack is misleading
Saw the picture that said it was a 2 pack and assumed it meant 2 pairs. This is not the case. There is only one pair.

Youth shin guards, said to fit up to 14 years of age, were very small

Great protection for toddlers
Perfect for toddlers - these are slightly taller than most shin guards to give a little more extra protection. Easy to put on and off and work perfectly over socks with the top of the socks pulled down over to hide them. My 4 and 6 year old can put these on and off themselves without any adult help - making it even easier to get ready for soccer.
