12 Fresh Oven-Ready Dorset Snails (Escargot) with Garlic & Parsley Butter

I can’t believe the change VIVA LE Dorset. Well done David, Tony and Jennie. In the past i have left quite negative reviews regarding bland earthy taste not enough garlic and salt but what seemed to be too much parsley. But obviously you guys have been listening and changed your recipe. The butter is just perfect now a beautiful blend of all what I love about snails. I always felt that the butter could have so much more done with it to enhance flavour as the butter originally was good in theory as it was not just a clear pool of garlic like many in France. But now they have all the subtle flavours anyone could ask for and a butter that is to die for thick enough to truly get full flavour and the snails when heated up with the butter are simply delicious. They are now far superior to any restaurant in France. It’s with pleasure I say congrats to you three you have created beautiful delicacies more superior to the french themselves. Again viva le Dorset you deserve true praise it’s about time we put a stamp on home grown food and show we are chefs and proveyors of quality foods and in this case escargot. In short they are now masterpieces and truly delicious. Well done you guys!!!! 😊

There was,not enough garlic in them,for me to really enjoy them.l have had them in France many times they were so good.

Finally treated myself after waiting a couple of months since Christmas. Plump, tasty, plenty of garlic and parsley butter, accompanied by a generous glass of Beaujolais and half a baguette. My guilty pleasure - none of the kids wanted to share. I did not complain.

Plump, juicy, beautiful garlic and herb butter, outstanding produce. The perfect starter before steak frites. Cannot recommended enough.

I bought these Snails for a family member. He has had Snails in French Restaurants and he said that these were far superior to any he has had before. I can highly recommend these Snails.

I've tasted many garlic snails and I have to say these are absolutely delicious. Why? Large, succulent, smooth, tender and encased in a great garlic/parsley butter. Far superior to any continental ones tasted in restaurants so far.
