Fluval Aquasky LED Light, 25 W, 83.5-103.5 cm

First impression. I have replaced the 2 t8 lights in my Roma 240 tank with just one strip of these. Within 2 hours my fish seemed to gain colour and life. The tank appears flooded with a very bright but not harsh light. The spread of the light as stated is about 120 degrees and gets right into the corners of the tank. I will look to purchase a second just to increase the brightness further, but the quality of light I am getting so far means I am in no hurry to do so. All of these positives and I have not even begun to alter the basic settings.

Loving the light, installed in 5 minutes into my t8 canopy atop my Fluval Roma200 tank. not as bright as the two t8 fluorescent bulbs but still light the tank well. Not sure if the light is bright enough for my plants, time will tell. The weather effects are great and add atmosphere to the tank. I've rated 4 stars only because of the cost, I do think the light it great, but expensive. If it had been £20 less expensive. I'd have put the second one in! My tank is 50cm deep.

I have had 4 (2 at a time) of these units all of them let in condensation over a period of 4-6 months. They were housed under the original fluval Roma hood. They are not fit for purpose. They were good lights when working and 2 together was very bright.I upgraded to the fresh and plant 2.0 I house these two units where the old t8 ballast sat on my Roma with the original kid/flaps resting ontop to hold in evaporation.

I bought this as a temporary light because I’m going away for a week and wasn’t impressed by all the negative comments regarding the fluval WiFi timer so I resorted to old school timer. The light is great and the remote control is handy. So after setting it all up I go to change channel on my LG tv and it changes the light setting in my tank the remotes are compatible with each other I can change tv channel on my aquarium remote. Now do I change the tv or aquarium.🤔

I think you need two of these to replace the two T8 bulbs. The light is great, well made, plants and fish happy but just a little bit dull. Shame given the cost

Ended up giving this to my son-in-law as it wasn't very good for my Roma 240. Very gimicky with the various lighting settings, none of which are very useful. I ended up buying the Fluval Eco Bright LED instead - now that is fab and does work well.

Turned out to be too large for my aquarium but well made and return processed very quickly.

Not the most powerful light in the world, and the spread isn't the best - first 5" of the tank from the surface is cast in shadow. 10 months old and several LED'S have now failed.
