Item broke locking me out of room - expensive to remedy
Had this product for a couple of months and was working well on an internal office door. Was really only used occaisonally. Decided to lock office on Christmas Eve. Opened late on Christmas Eve to hide some presents in office. Went to retrieve presents on Christmas morning and the lock would not open. The code simply no longer opened the door. Had to call out emergency locksmith on Christmas Morning (you can imagine the cost) in order to get me into office. As only access to lock was from inside the locked room, had to dissassemble door from in order to gain entry to office and kids presents. Transpires that the lock system inside had broken.If you want a code lock, get one with a key override or pay more for one that is less likely to break because if the code wont open the lock, the only way in as I found was to force entry. Cost me a lot more than buying a more reputable brand.Not a happy customer!!!
