Top quality, engineering is very well, not fancy, really good board!
If you are looking for a board that is very good or excelling at every single aspect. Than look no more. This board is price/performance king especially if you find it at the 130-150$. And very very good at 170-180$.Lets go into highlights, what is different on this;->There is no fancy stupid plastic cover for the ports instead, there is a cover which is connected to the VRM heatsinks, operating as a heat spreader and looking very good.->There is Digital code display for bootup error cods.->Extra power supply input doe PCI-E slots, placed terrific.->Very good heatsinks for the VRM and chipset, not fancy but very big surface area.->Metal eched pci-e and memory slots are standard for high grade and on this as well.->3 M.2 slots, 2 for nvme. Take care SATA port limitations when in use.->Bios reset button on backplate!!!->More than enough 8+3 phase VRM for reasonable overclocks. It means for with little luck, 90% you can get the same overclocking result with this board like the most expensive kings, azimuts, godlike etc named ridiculously priced motherboards...->Tests show very very good memory bandwith with overclocking.->Boxing and materials quality is topnotch!

Beast
It has tremendous overclocking performance.Easy to install : It has a very simple BIOS.Value for money : It is a product with a very high price / performance ratio. It is a super-strong board that does not have a luxurious appearance like Maximus.Material quality : The strongest PWM.

Excellent board
I've been using evga video cards for years, and not long ago I upgraded my wife's computer with the model down from this...and was very impressed. It doesn't have every bell and whistle of the more expensive boards, but rarely do I need most of those, and honestly my computer needs to work, not give me a light show. but it doe have headers for led lights...which I haven't used so cant say how well the work. This is probably going to be my mb brand till I find a good reason to change, very solid and I have no complaints with it.As a side note, the last time I had to call evga support (for a video card) I actually got a person I could not only understand, was a breeze to deal with. Good to know if you need support they are good.

Good board but I wouldn't recommend it for new builders.
This board is great, and has some weight to it. Feels very solid and seems to overclock fairly well. My only complaint is how hard it is to setup an NVME SSD. First it disables two of your sata ports, when I read that info on the board I was like okay, then I install everything and boot up the system and it can't see my ssd. It took me about 40mins to figure out the cause of the issue and for some stupid reason I had to switch the drive into legacy mode.... On a system with an 8700k and a brand new fing samsung nvme ssd. The tech support at evga couldn't even figure out what settings in the bios would make it work in non legacy mode.

One of the Best Z370 motherboards on the market!
One of the best budget Z370 motherboard on the market. It is designed for cable management with its 90-degree angle pins. It has an optional 4-pin for the CPU in case you need the extra power and an extra 6 pin PCI-E in case your GPU needs the extra power. Although it only has 2 Dimm slots, that's all I use, that might be a deal breaker for some people. It also comes with a wifi + Bluetooth chip that does not come with any instructions on how to install, but it's kind of self-explanatory. Which means the parts just go where they are supposed to go, it only fits one way. It is recommended to install the wifi chip before installing the motherboard in the case, the reason is that your case might not have enough clearance to screw the screw into the nut on the other side for the bracket. The wifi chip is just as fast as ethernet, I got 70 downloads and 6 uploads on both of them.

EVGA says it all
It's an evga product.Best supportAmazing productsGreat qualityGood features.I've been through a lot of mobo companies, and some is a hit or miss especially when it comes to onboard sound card. This board is spot on.the sound card is shielded properly resulting in no static background noise when using a headphone. All in all great board.Just beware the manual states only certain m.2 SSD is compatible!

Great gaming and entry-level OC motherboard
I've been very satisfied by this board with my 8086k and 1080Ti/3080.EVGA bios made it easy to OC the CPU and I've been very happy with my clock speeds. VRM thermals have never been an issue.Good PCIe spacing with plenty of room to mount both a 1080Ti and 3080.I guess I would have liked SMART control over all the different fan headers. Notwithstanding, fan speeds area easy to adjust in BIOS.

Great BUT - CAREFUL with 9th gen
I bought this with a i7-9700k, heads up, this doesn't have the bios for the newest cpu's. I had to drop an older cpu into the motherboard, update the bios, then install the new cpu. After that, it works great, there's great spacing for all the plugs, the RAM clicks are really satisfying.I know the cpu error was my fault, so I'm still giving it 5 stars, the cpu lock arm is realllllly tight at 1st, it felt like I was going to break the arm when i installed it.Other than that, so far, so good.

No frills, excellent overclocking, function over form
If you're looking for something that's going to get the job done, and do it well while looking stealthy, and just plain good, this is your motherboard. It's got overclocking features, like LED post status, power and reset buttons on board, lots of fan headers, two BIOSes you can switch between using a physical switch on the board itself, good onboard audio, etc. What it doesn't have is RGB and that's prefectly fine by me personally. I overclocked my i7-8086k to 5.1GHz without issue at all using a Cryorig R1 ultimate, idles at 27-30 and Cinebench runs brought it up to about 57.

9th gen cpu? Bios need upgrading.
Awesome m/b. However, as stated if using an i9 cpu, bios have to be upgraded.

Stupid 90 degree pin connectors
Great motherboard, BUT, why on earth did they decide to put the front connector and HD audio connectors at 90 degrees instead of pointing up like every other motherboard ever? The case I put this in had a top mount PSU making the connectors rub against the bottom of the case. Time will tell if this is an issue but I really don't understand their reasoning. The main 24 pin power at 90, is perfect. Makes it easy to hide the cable.
