NEBO Big Daddy 2000-Lumen Flashlight: Completely Waterproof, 4X Adjustable Zoom, 5 Unique Light Modes, 9X AA Batteries Included 6692

I bought this June 2018, about 1.5 years ago. I use it for work and personal use. I do NOT give 5 stars ratings hardly; this earns it.This is what I was looking for when I bought it:- takes regular batteries; the rechargeable light I bought previously was like my Lithium ion phone, good for short bit, then flaky. I want a light that will last may years without pampering. THIS FLASHLIGHT HAS BEEN GREAT IN THIS METRIC.- Bright. I would like to see more lumens in a light that takes regular NiMh batteries. If you know of one, please leave a note. THIS FLASHLIGHT HAS BEEN GREAT IN THIS METRIC. 2000 REAL lumens have not been a let down in the essentials of my work. This is the best work related light I have ever owned.- Durable. THIS FLASHLIGHT HAS BEEN GREAT IN THIS METRIC. This thing has good fit and finish. It is well thought out in its design. I would love to see a Titanium version. The glow in the dark rear button is really done well, as is the whole lens module/area. This is the best flashlight Nebo makes!Cons: I hate clicking through modern flastlight modes. If this had a secondary brightness mode; I would appreciate it. Seems like a great flashlight. Solid and sturdy. Great brightness and can vary the field and width of beam.

Very powerful flashlight.

Very impressive and awesome flashlight. The throw and distance is a tad short of 3 football fields from my standpoint. The square Check dot on the spot is questionable I rather see Circle. I have a coast hp550 flashlight I compared them together the Big Daddy is able to out perform the coast flashlights on 800 Lumen and 2000 lumen mode. The Big Daddy on 2000 Lumen mode at flood sitting is incredible and mind-blowing very bright wide field at a distance. This flashlight has a nice to feel to it. On high mode it gets warm and does have a little bit of hunger for batteries. One photo has the big daddy flashlight and the coast hp550 flashlight. The multi modes give me the control that I need to see at night in the woods and conserve the battery. I live most of the time off grid deep in the woods. This flashlight is a win-win.

I love Nebo flashlights, they're very bright and have durable construction. I wish that battery holders were available for replacement, as they are a weak part of the product.

They are great flashlights when new, and many of them are very bright when they have fresh batteries. But I've noticed a common problem among all of them... after a year or two, the connections get loose and cause them to malfunction.The wiring and switch design has a flaw where after a year or two, typical wear and tear results in loose connections. This leaves the flashlight sensitive to bumps which causes the flashlight to cycle through every mode. Sometimes the flashlights fail to work at all, unless one is able to figure out how to disassemble the flashlight and tighten loose connections.I've had many different Nebos over the past ten years and they all have had this problem.I have recently repaired my Big Daddy, so it's working again. I have since changed my review from 3 stars to 4 since the flashlight is actually repairable. But the design is still faulty. Planned obsolescence???

Our chimney sweep crew will only use this flashlight now. This is our 2nd order and they love them. They are super bright, they are rugged even when dropped. Great product

I've had very good luck with the dozen or more NEBO flashlights I've bought for me, my wife, my two daughters, a coworker, and a friend. They are the brightest flashlights I've ever had, feel great in the hand, and are of high quality. Would buy again. Excellent gift for campers, mechanics, computer repair people, people over fifty (vision gets worse with age), people who drop hard-to-find stuff on floor, etc. I only use flashlight occasionally and it is still on first set of batteries.

tuff great lumen thrower for the money have owned smaller version for 3 years flawless easy on batteries use it constantly 10 times a day just thru out my once beloved maglite
