It can be done.
“Why doesn’t this fit my C series grill!! What the heck”.Relax the grill you bought 5 years ago was before the propane insert was invented. So going forward 3 years from today, newer grills were built around to accommodate this system. Luckily vision grills stayed true to the design. For now at least. What to do chosen one? Take a drill and make sure the file bit is long enough to reach the area around the ash box entrance, shave down the tapered ceiling and upper corners that sandwich the inserts fit. Keep working it and testing the fit. Making sure the box slides in with some or little resistance (30 minutes of labor). You can always shave down more ceramic material in the future but you cannot put it back. What if it cracks, oh dear? It won’t. Use the proper filer. Either a drill or a thicker grade metal length filer. How will this help my manhood? Don’t say non wont be non.Is it worth it? “You tell me”.

Check u’r Model # or type of grill & Gas (Natural Gas vs. Propane
Different Vision Kamado Grills use different Gas Fuel Kits... The “Series S” (models with the Ash Removal drawer) use a different Gas Grill Kit from the lower priced models (w/ fewer features, like those sold at Sam’s, etc). I don’t yet have the Gas Grilling Conversion Kit, but have been looking & learning what’s needed, etc!! Sadly my Vision Grill “Series S” was seriously damaged in a move, so I need/want to buy another “S” to replace my damaged grill; but I will also buy the CORRECT Gas Conversion Kit for my “Series S”. ALSO VERY IMPORTANT: Be certain the Gas Conversion Kit U buy is for the CORRECT TYPE OF FUEL; (Natural Gas vs. Propane) as I’ve seen other’s who’ve commented in reviews on other website reviews who bought the Gas Conversion Kit for the wrong type of Gas!!! Look at ALL OF THE DETAILS and/or ask Questions to ensure U get the correct item for u’r Vision Kamado Grill & for the correct gas/fuel!!Happy Grilling & Slow Cooking to all!!

Fit New C-Series Grill Prefect
I bought a new C-series Vision grill in February. This fit my grill prefect and it works great.

Works great...even comes with a lava stone.
I have the Pro S series (Home Depot) model. They make a gas insert for just the S series that has a square front plate (not the rounded top like this one). Heres my take on the gas insert for the S (should operate just the same as the others)...I decided to get a gas insert for my Visions Pro S kamado as I'm cooking in it everyday now (prepping coal, waiting for it to get hot, and cleaning afterwards on the daily is getting old). For $250, I'm impressed. It even comes with a lava stone and rack so if your looking at buying the stone separately ($40), you don't need to. Here are my time to temp numbers. Ambient temp was 70°, with the lava stone in, top exhaust full open:200° 1m40s250° 2m50s300° 4m30s350° 7m400° 11m450° 15m40s500° 18m30s550° 21mOne thing to point out. When the temp knob is turned all the way to high, it seems to stop just before the highest setting. In order to get the highest setting, you have to push in on the knob and then rotate further to high. I don't think most people will know this. This is most likely a safety feature having to do with the runaway shutoff valve.
