Quality and Functionality is great!
Over all very happy with the vest and am sure I will get a lot of use out of it. While the online picture for the Olive Drab/Jam has a brownish look to it, the product is indeed true Olive Drab (as in Army green olive drab)…works for me, but may be important to others. Compared to other “large” jackets I own, this vest is just a bit smaller…may be important if you are debating between the Large or Extra-Large sizes.

Great Travel Companion
This vest has replaced numerous travel bags for various small electronics. I wish I had purchased one years ago.

Excellent product, I wouldn't travel without one
I recently ordered this model directly from the company as they had a coupon sale. However, I wanted to share my long experience with other Amazon buyers. What I like best:For travel, it eliminates a small carry-on. I can carry everything I need for a domestic flight within handy reach: my Kindle, my phone, tissues, snacks, cash, documents, etc. Yeah, it can look a little lumpy, but I’m too old to care. Over time I’ve developed my preferences for where to stow things, so it’s now second nature. It actually looks pretty good if you don’t load it up. Pockets are conveniently located and easy to get into. The notion that it immediately labels you as an American is funny, because there’s a lot more obvious “tells” long before anyone sees the vest. It’s warm enough for cool weather and cool enough for temperate weather. There’s not much I don’t like… the things I dislike are picky things which might not bother someone else.I got my first ScotteVest in the early 2000s right after they first came out. I’ve bought a total of five over the years, to replace ones that got damaged, for a new color, a different style, or if it just wore out. These vests seem a little pricey which might scare off someone curious about their usefulness. They may not be right for everyone, but I won’t travel without one now. Curiosity or bargain prices caused me to buy other brands, but these are my favorites, hands down.

An amazing vest
I've looked at many travel vests, even several of the other models of Scott travel vests, and this vest is the best. Travel vests all have lots of pockets, but what sets this vest aside are the two large interior pockets that can be zippered closed with a standard iPad inside. This vest is capable of holding some small laptop computers. Two other unique features: a RFID protected pocket and a rear lumbar pocket that can be used to store a wind/rain shell. I am 6'1" and wear a 42 L dress jacket, 32" inseam, I bought the L in regular length, the length comes just below my belt.
