Great rice
I am originally from Japan and I have been searching for the great tasting Japanese rice in the U.K. for the past 20 years. I have tried many different “sushi rice” and Japanese rice on Amazon before and I saw this rice recently and thought I would give it a go. The rice is produced in Nagano prefecture in Japan and the quality is what I expect from Japanese rice. It tastes great, too! Price is super reasonable comparing to other Japanese rice on the market and I feel that I finally found the rice I was looking for! Highly recommend this rice.

Good Japanese sushi rice, just not vacuum packed
Good sushi rice originated from Japan. It would be perfect if vacuum packed.

Really good
Probably my favourite east asian rice, sticky but not extremely tacky, cooks well, has a wonderful aroma and a slight sweetness. I could eat this just with a dash of soy sauce, mirin, and vinegar by itself and I would be satisfied.

good quality rice
good quality rice. I used to top water 1 cm over Japanese rice (PS Now I only top with appx 0.2 cm water) cook with my electric rice cooker. For the first few trials, the rice was too wet so I turned the rice and lid off a few minutes (while cooker at warm states), then put lid back to keep warm for dinner.

the best of all
We like this rice so much. I read comments and decided to give a go! I have fed up with the Italian, USA Thailand or Vietnam born Sushi rice. But this one is product of Japan with reasonable price! I will buy it regularly!
