ClairolTextures & Tones Permanent Hair Dye, 4RV Berry Burgundy Hair Color, Pack of 1

So this is a permanent dye and I've used the Darkest Brown and the mocha brown color and I've been happy with the results from both. I use it for my hair and my beard and my hair is very thick and coarse so even though I'm a guy with shorter hair I still wind up using most of the bottle.It's really easy to mix and the fact that you only have to leave it in for 20 minutes is great, you can put it in your hair get your shower, and get all your stuff ready and under an hour and be fine.I will say however that the darkest brown color will come off on your fingernails for several days after if you scratch your scalp or play with your hair too much though I haven't had it stained any of my bed sheets or pillow cases. Try using warm water a day or two after you put it in to hopefully get it off your scalp.

I haven’t dyed my hair in 16 years (when I started my dreadlocks - yes, I’m much older than I look), but I’m so happy with how this turned out! The process was super simple. I did leave the dye in longer than the instructions said (approximately 20 minutes longer since dense dreads are like sponges) & I did not use the “intensive moisturizing mask,” because my hair isn’t brittle & less moisture helps me keep the fuzzies at bay, but they were still super soft after. I’d say my hair type would be considered “fine” & definitely not coarse, so I feel like that says a lot about the product lightening my naturally dark hair. It doesn't show well in the picture, but I put some in my baby hairs towards the tony tail side, & those little guys weren’t damaged at all either. The instructions cover all of your bases. I’ve been swimming in a pool every several days & have had no lightening/change in color. I was nervous to try something new, but I would totally buy this again!

Weirdly enough, copper hair colors are getting difficult to find in the drugstore anymore.... I guess they are but currently popular bc years ago it seems like they were easier to find. Anyway, glad that Clairol offers this extremely affordable option.No ammonia which I absolutely love. No stinging scent reminiscent of cat pee on your head is always a plus. I actually liked the small of this while it was process. A little chemically but still a nice light flowery scent behind it. The conditioner it comes with its a fruity coconut type scent.The formula is kind of thin and anymore with thicker or long hair should definitely get 2 boxes. I usually use my own 10 volume developer to deposit color only but decided to go ahead with the Clairol included developer and unfortunately it did cause a bit of "hot roots" which apparently can happen even with copper colors which is ironic bc coppery orange undertones is what hot roots often give.I do leave the color on longer than recommended as I get better results that way.Reds and coppers don't last terribly long on me. I wash my hair daily but when I do reds or coppers I sometimes try to dry shampoo every other day to keep the color from fading as quick.This is a good dye for the affordability, can't complain.

This dark mocha is the first color that actually covers the gray, this stuff is so amazing. I ordered four boxes to make sure I have it on hand. Clairol no they did their thing when they made the dark mocha.

First time ever using this brand.Probably the last time using this brand.Overall. It was easy to mix and use.The color was black.My first issue is with the fact that it doesn't last long if you wash your hair often.The second issue is it doesn't really have great coverage regarding gray hair.

It’s alright, I loved the way the after conditioner smelt and left my hair shining and feeling healthy, I do wish the bottle was a bit bigger so I did not have to get two, this was an amazing dye that did not damage my hair as much as others would
