The Greatest product for teeth yet x
I thought about this long and hard, but as I'm trying my best to cut out anything slightly undesirable planet and animal wise I I would give this a go...Firstly the packaging excellent. The toothsiap is a stick which I find excellent and remove it from packaging to rub toothbrush on it, then dry it wi with tissue and leave for a while with lid off to totally dry.Secondly there us a taste of a soap amongst the minty taste about it butnot hugely horrible, as you dont need an awful lot of it at a time, so the taste isn't too overpowering. It is an absolutely great tooth soap I will not go back to tubes again. This is an absolute must for anyone who wants to upgrade to Eco/Vegan friendly products.I personally love it!!

Tastes disgusting but saves the planet
First impression was - this cardboard cylinder was actually wrapped in bubble wrap. That sort of defeats the point of plastic free packaging. Secondly, it tastes vile, like a dry papery paste. But ultimately (without the bubble wrap) it defeats plastic waste, cleans your teeth well and is made from natural ingredients. Will take some getting used to but worth it for the planet!

Great product, no plastic waste but…
This is my I think 4th purchase of this toothpaste. Taste is ok, it’s different to other ones but you can get used to it.Designers may work a bit on the tube so that toothpaste block is not coming out from the cardboard. So that’s half of the star off.The other half off, it came wrapped in a plastic bubble wrap! I know it’s not Georgianics fault but they should influence Amazon to find the alternative way of securing the product. In my opinion there is no need to secure it at all.To sum up, it’s a great toothpaste and if you care about environment, buy it!

Works but tastes pretty bad
This tooth block ( not a paste but in a solid block) comes in a recycled cardboard tube, good in one sense but a bit of a nightmare in the bathroom if it gets wet it dissolves so dont drop it into the sink! It works really well and leaves teeth feeling clean. Only problem is it tastes like crap. (not literally) I haven't quite worked out the taste but it stays with you a long time after. So if you dont like the taste (and I didnt) this is not a product for you. I dont hik you can send stuff back because you dont like it but if I could I would. anyone in the market for second hand tooth block? barely used!

Negative Reviews Are Misleading | No Palm Oil | No Plastic
A superb zero-waste toothsoap that cleans effectively, has a clean, fresh taste, and lasts months. The negative reviews for this product are utterly misleading and confusing. There's no plastic in the product or the packaging. Palm oil isn't among the ingredients; not even by another name. And sodium hydroxide [Lye] is a common, naturally occurring alkaline compound that reacts with oils and fats to produce soaps. Lye alone can be hazardous; however, when processed into soap, no unreacted Lye should remain. If it did, virtually all soap would be caustic!I can't find much of anything to criticise about this toothsoap. It cleans very effectively, and it's ethically and sustainably packaged. Some additional bizarre review comments cite hygeine concerns regarding multiple people sharing the block. Why? It's no different than a family sharing a bar of bath soap or a toothpaste tube. My partner and I have shared this block for months without issue, so I don't consider this criticism valid.I'd recommend this product without hesitation; purchase with confidence.

Brilliant if you want to throw twice up at 6am :-)
Ok, I was so excited to get this product. It's been a goal of mine for ages to finally cut out all plastic in my everyday life. I though that this would be a no brainer. I had heard so many brilliant things about georganics so I felt confident in buying this tooth soap.So the day came when I got to try it for the first time, I wetted my toothbrush, formed a lather with it on the and began to brush.DONT BUY THIS!I immediately felt great, it was strange, of course, because it is very different to normal toothpaste. But then about 5 seconds in to brushing, the texture hit me it was like chalk powder and split milk and oil had all been mixed together in my mouth, and then it got worse; the taste hit me. Oh.my.gosh. it's awful, so unbearably awful. I had seen some reviews mentioning the bad taste but I just assumed that it was slightly unpleasant. But I was wrong, very wrong.**THE VIAL FLAVOUR MADE ME IMEADIATLY THROW UP TWICE**It is the most vial flavour. It smells delicious and super pepperminty but dont let that fool you! It actually tasted unlike anything I've encountered before. If I had to try and describe it I would probably say; imagine the flavour of dust, thick dust, soil, dirt and fat and a bit of a bin juicy tawang at the end.And it's not like you can just rinse your mouth and it's gone. It lasts ALL DAY!! even though I threw up, the taste of this tooth soap overpowered the taste of my actual vomit.**PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF PAIN AND DISCONFORT; DO. NOT. BUY. THIS!!!!!**I would sooner use a bar of actual soap than this, it certainly would be a much better way to start the day.(Oh and also, so much for zero waste, it comes wrapped in bubble wrap!!!!)Really really not happy

Wash your mouth out with soap!
Yes, that’s pretty much what you’re doing! Hear me out though. Teeth feel really clean, you don’t get the aggressive burn that comes with conventional minty toothpaste, you’re not getting loads of plastic packaging with it, it’s not full of weird dodgy ingredients, and you don’t get loads of foam all over your face and clothes (I’m a bit messy). For sure, it tastes soapy. That’s why rinsing well is a good idea. Goodbye, toothpaste in a tube!

NOT the usual 80ml size. Only 30ml!
They have obviously changed the packaging and now reduced the amount you get. I thought I was buying the usual 80ml but only got 30ml for the same price I usually paid for 80ml. Suddenly not to good value for money.
