Q: Does it drive up electric bill cost very much?

I have noticed no increase of my electric bill. I use my Sauna at least 3-4 times weekly.

Q: is this sauna infrared ?

Hi this is steam sauna. not infrared one.

Q: Can you plug into extension cord ? The cord is not long enough.

As with any appliance using enough electricity to heat surrounding areas, extension cord use should be restricted to heavy duty extension cords having three prongs. These cost more than typical household extension cords. While regular surge protecting utility strips have heavy duty cords and plugs, they should NOT be used for heat producing appliances unless specifically built for them (e.g. constructed of metal), as they can overheat and cause a fire.
