OtterBox Defender Series Case for Samsung Galaxy S4 - Retail Packaging - Realtree Camo - Xtra Green

This is probably the best phone case on earth. I bought this case for the second time now, and the first one I had for 3 years and the screen of the case was so scratched up I couldn't see my phone screen. I dropped it, scratched it, melted it with a torch on accident, got it wet, worked outside everyday with it, and hunted in some very cold weather and the case just asked for more. It did an outstanding job at protecting my phone no matter what. From sawdust to pouring rain, it was there through it all. The day I got my phone it went straight in this case, and to this day if you take my phone out of the case after more than 3 years, my phone looks brand spanking new because this case is just that awesome. The rubber is heavy, it fits the plastic shell like a glove, it is very detailed and looks great, and it does an awesome job at protecting the phone. The screen protector is very thick and that saved me more than once with my old case. Other than the fact that this case is not completely waterproof, I am willing to argue that this is the best non water proof case for any phone on the market today. I've proved it and I can't tell you how many iPhones and other cases, otter box and life proof I have seen fail time and time again. My only dislikes about this case are that it's not totally waterproof, and the tabs on the plastic shell will crack if you take the case on and off a bunch of times(I had to to clean the saw dust out of it). But other than those two very minor things, this is the best phone case money can buy. And for the price, this is by far the best. Why pay 60+ for a life proof when every single one I've ever seen fails? Yea. Buy this case.

Great product. I highly recommend it for the protection afforded your phone. Perfect fit even with the addition of a ballistic glass screen protector on the phone underneath it. I do suggest though that you definitely use the included home buttons that may come with your glass screen protector as it will be difficult to use without it, not impossible mind you just difficult. As far as the Otter Box is concerned though I have no complaint whatsoever. This case will keep your phone looking brand new which is definitely a plus in the event you want to trade it in on an upgrade or even sell it outright.

Great case! I've had mine now for about a year and use it outdoors everyday. It's been hunting, fishing, camping, and hiking through all 4 seasons and still looks as new as the day I bought it. Stays on beautifully, yet removes easily to clean up after an outing in the field. Very impressed by the tabs that cover the charger and earpiece hole - they look as new as the day I bought it. I also like the feel of the side buttons - easy to find and use when I'm in the dark.

As with other Otterbox products I've purchased over the years, this one is well made and very durable. The only problem I have with this particular model, and the reason it isn't 5 stars, is that the camo sticker on the back is too slick. I have to be very cautious about where I put it so it doesn't slide around. Trying to set it on my leg in my semi truck is hopeless; one little bump and it's on the floor. Thankfully it does such a good job of protecting the phone that there hasn't been any damage.

My case got a small crack - no idea how. I followed the process for their warranty and received a replacement within a few days. Great product - protects my phone from my abuse - and backed by a great warranty. I could have probably skipped getting insurance on my phone. Also love the greentree graphics.

I honestly didn't like the fact that it had a screen protector built into it, especially considering the screen protector didn't attach to the screen or anything, so it captured every piece of dirt and held it underneath it.Anyways, I took that off and now the case is fine.

This OtterBox phone case is heavy duty protection for your phone! I have dropped the phone in this case at least ten times from three to five feet with no issues. Phone on the table and a glass of water spilt all over it with no problems. Really, just about any absent minded thing you could think of I have done to my phone. With the OtterBox Defender case my phone still looks like new when I take it out the case! My ONLY issue with the case is that it make the phone considerably more bulky. I just think of it as armor for my phone. I will most assuredly purchase an OtterBox for my next phone as well.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas to replace the same one he bought this time last year. He still loves it. He is really hard on a phone at work (welder/industrial mechanic) so he needs heavy duty protection. His old one was great until the little green frame cracked in November. He tried to replace it with a refurbished one. (Not sure if it was factory refurb or what but the screen protector on the refurb did not have adequate contact with the glass which made the phone difficult to operate.) I don't think it's worth a little bit of savings for a cheap case/cover.For us, it's $ well spent.

The defender series is great if you do a lot of physical work. With Realtree on the case its a must have.Sound quality is not 100% the same but still good. Makes the phone a little more bulky but atleast I know its well protected, it has the belt clip if its too bulky for some pockets

LOVE Otterbox such an amazing product I cant tell you how many times this case saved my phone and to be able to get the green camo was a big plus since its now discontinued a must have for any phone

Otterbox cases are the only ones to get. Have tried others but find the defender to be the best. This one feels different than an older SIV case that I have, not better or worse but smoother.

The case works great and keeps my phone protected well. When I removed the case from the box the inside of the case was covered in dust. It was luckily I looked before assembling the thing with my phone. The rubber outer coating protects the phone from any accidents that might occur. There is little dust getting under screen protector from around the home button but oveall very happy.

Fit my phone perfectly. Would recommend to anyone for great cell phone protection. Camo has a real look to it.
