Well well well..
I received these IEM's today and have been looking forward to listening to them for quite a while! There have been no recent reviews on amazon about these and I figured that needed a little bit of updating.First of all, these are built extremely well. The headphones are a beautiful metallic color with the wood having a glossy sheen to it and bonded to the metal perfectly. They are very stunning in person. The cable is amazing as well. It is surrounded by a slightly hazy rubber enclosure all the way down. Where the cable meets the headphone is held together by a firm rubber piece that feels like it can take a beating. The ear tips are great as well. 3 different sizes of silicone tips and 1 pair of comply foam tips (which are kind of a medium looking fit, but are foam so they expand and should fit most ears). The sound is great so far! They are not too bass heavy or fatiguing in any frequency and are fairly neutral to my ears! The sound stage is very wide as well and stereo field is clearly distinguishable! I have my Sennheiser 518's and my HiFiMan RE-400b's to compare them too, and they are great!I am not afraid to take these out in public since they are affordable and built strong enough to withstand daily use! Not to mention that if you do get these, you will most likely get some compliments on them ;).I will try to keep this review updated over time if anything is to happen to them, but as of now.. I am truly impressed! 5/5

Better than average sounding buds with weak bass and fragile plug design
Headphones are okay, really crisp highs but lackluster low end performance.I have been using these daily for the past couple months and there are a couple things that have bothered me from the start:1. The headphone plug is awkwardly placed and really long, making it stick out a lot and difficult to put my phone in my pocket when listening to these buds.2. I like the synthetic cable lining material because it produces very little friction (aka noise) when wearing the buds, but the sheathing beneath the liner is just rigid enough they never could conform to a nice looped shape (without pinching the wires) and required de-tangling every time they were to be used.3. They just crapped out on me entirely the other day for no reason at all and I have yet to find any warranty/replacement info.Other than that they seem like you get a pair of better-than-average headphones for a price that isn't all too bad if they weren't so fragile.

It's good as enough as I expect. A vibration is very good when a low-pitched tone is played.

These are beautiful and sound great.
I was simply amazed at the sound quality of these IEMs. I have been trying to find an earphone that gave me the sound I liked...a brightness, not to analytical...these fit the bill. The overall balance is excellent. The bass is there, present but not overpowering. The mids are where the Astrotec AM800 shine...vocals are clear, precise and right up front. The highs, like the bass, are sharp, pronounced but not harsh or annoying. I have a few more expensive IEMs but these have now become my favorite..beautiful, comfortable and a great IEM for the money

Best Sound stage of any earbud / IEM in its price range.
If your like me and you find earbuds/IEMs muddy and overly bass-y sounding. You'll love these. They have the sound signature of an open backed full size headphone. That equals a fantastic sound stage. The mids are not recessed or veiled and the bass while tight is not artificially boosted nor is it overpowering. I'm hesitant to spend a lot on earbuds because they take such a beating and usually dont last long (exercise, yard work, travel) but at $40 these are a no brainer.

endless static.
I bought these headphones solely for using with my phone, to listen to music and videos on YouTube mostly. There is an overwhelming buzzing/static sound. I can listen to loud music without it being too obnoxious, but it makes watching videos impossible.I have a $15 headset that works with my phone just fine, no static at all. So you can imagine why I am disappointed. The only thing I wanted from these headphones was quality, clear sound but all I got was god awful static.

Outstanding performance without exaggerated bass/trebles
I have an old pair of Shure M500 earbuds that I compare against and these come the closest. They have a great dynamic range while maintaining a relatively flat profile. They do not have an exaggerated v-profile of extended bass and harsh treble. They have a small profile and come with 6 different types of ear pieces to find the right fit. Three sets of ear pieces are foam so they fit to your ear better (my preference).
