Samsung QN65Q6FN FLAT 65” QLED 4K UHD 6 Series Smart TV 2018

Wow. What’s not to like about this tv. I am a Sony fan and this is my first Samsung. I am impressed. The picture is awesome, I use an antenna as well as Prime, Netflix and Hulu. Set up took a while even after downloading the app on my iPhone and signing in, I had a hard time having the Tv recognizing my account. I tried logging directly on the Tv bypassing the phone and kept getting error logging in. I gave up and when I turned the Tv back on 30 min later or so I was signed in. No issues with the WiFi or sign in since.I still can’t believe how clear and realistic the picture is. Sound is awesome and I will not need the sound bar I was planning to get. I love the remote especially when using the over the air channels and I press the channel (right) button and I get the Tv Guide.Update December 2019. I purchased the TV in October 2018 so it's been over one year. It's monted on the wall using PERLESMITH Full Motion TV Wall Mount bought here on Amazon.This TV still deserves the 5 stars I gave it in my original review. What prompted me to update the review is the 1 star reviews from many who are probably unaware of certain settings.I mostly use the On Air TV with an attic antenna and Netflix, Prime and Hulu. I have no idea what all the low raters are talking about ads and how to take them off and wasting time to google the problem but I have heard of certaing drugs which make people hallucinate. First there are NO samsung ads on Live TV. Samsung does ad Plus TV which appear to be Pluto TV channels. I love having the TV guide displayed for On Air TV. So NO annoying ads you have to panic about. Never had any issues with brightness but it can be adjusted. Go to setting and download the manual right on your TV. WiFi is great but if you have issues it's probably your crappy 5 yr old router, maybe you should upgrade. I use MOTOROLA MG7550 16x4 Cable Modem Plus AC1900 Dual Band WiFi Gigabit Router bought on Amazon and it works great. I cannot say enough about this amazing TV. Very happy with it and will definitely go to Samsung for the next.

This is my fourth Samsung television purchase and it's an amazing piece of equipment I'm in AWS at the beautiful picture set up for the TV was incredibly easy I just love my TV I actually bought it for my travel trailer it fits in the space I provided for it I've had zero problems with this TV there's many reviews on here and people are just infuriated with everything about the TV and frankly I believe they're completely idiots or they actually got detective equipment which does happen at times no one's perfect no corporation is perfect things happened humans are involved of course my only and one complaint the design of the remote was a complete disaster some call it a minimalistic design small and slim all-in-one remote nah it's a piece of junk and it's incredibly hard to use I'm actually still using the original remote from my 40-inch Samsung which almost all Samsung remotes for television will work on each other that's been a breeze the plugins are all in the right place the screen displays everything you connect you don't have to search for inputs I purchased a new top-of-the-line surround Samsung system for sound although this TV has incredible sound all on its own I'm amazed at everything about this TV I have zero complaints other than the remote personally I think it was stupid if you're looking for a great picture at a great price you cannot go wrong with the Samsung qled !!

Please see updated comment at the end of my review ... Upgraded to 5 Stars!The Samusng QN65Q6FN QLED TV has the best UHD 4K picture quality I have ever seen. Even the Up-scaling from broadcast HD (1080p) looks so good! The internal speakers sound surprisingly good for a very thin profile TV.The best sound of course requires an external amplifier or sound bar. If you want to use the built in audio sources (Over the Air TV, Amazon Prime, Netflix, Youtube, etc...) you will need to connect an HDMI cable or an Optical cable from your TV to the external amplifier or soundbar. For 7.1 surround sound or better, and HDMI cable is required, and the Audio Return Channel (ARC) must be activated. Unfortunately the ARC has a known problem ... It stops working after a random number of days. The easiest way to restore the Audio return channel is to UNPLUG both the TV and the External Amp wait for about 30 seconds and then plug them both back in. This action reboots the Samsung software and resets the glitched HDMI ARC. You will need to do this all the time if you use the Smart TV features. Samsung refuses to acknowledge this very common problem (Check the Samsung customer boards and you will see this problem has been around since 2017). Another work around would be to use an external streaming box like the Amazon 4k Fire TV box to stream your smart TV apps and just use the Samsung TV as a monitor. I am still holding out hope that Samsung will correct this issue through a firmware upgrade. Until then, please be aware of this before you purchase a Samsung smart TV.Update May 2019: The TV has been working flawlessly for Weeks! I have not had any problems with the HDMI ARC or the Samsung AnyNet for several Weeks now. I am guessing that perhaps Samsung corrected the problems through a software update. I have upgraded my ratings to 5 stars! Very happy with my purchase.
