This pontoon boat ladder is made from good aluminum.It's basically a short ladder with a permanent attachment to a c tube frame. It's all welded together nice enough.They market it as a pontoon ladder but it would be good for any wet/salty environment or anywhere you have sufficient space to undermount the frame.As with many things in my life, this ladder did require a little unexpected grinding to get the bolts in place. Basically, just know that you'll need to figure out the install for your specific application and have some basic tools available to do so. As a regular DIYer with a mechanic's set, it was no big deal.

Installing this ladder was made difficult by having bolts that were too long.The bolts included had a long shank which made it impossible to tighten enough to properly secure the ladder.After a trip to the hardware for shorter bolts, we were able to properly install the ladder under our boat.Have not put the boat in the water yet, so can't comment anything else? but feel like it will serve its purpose.Lost a star due to need to purchase correct mounting bolts.

Can hold alot of weight and has very strong aluminum material. Has a very sturdy grip on the bottom. Also ladder can extend, has a convenient undermount. That can be stored away easily.

This ladder is a great addition to our family pontoon boat. The installation is complicated if attempting by yourself. I highly recommend two people for install. The hardware that came with the ladder was okay but once I drilled the holes I realized the bolts was little too long but after some fabrication everything went smoothly. The ladder is very helpful when entering in and out the water at the front of the pontoon.

I used this as a dock step. I mounted it under my dock and it works great. No more having to watch out for the ladder when docking the boat. Very convenient to use when you're in the water, and very easy to install. Super light and great quality. It would make a great pontoon step as well.

This ladder was easy to install and is a lot better than the flip down hoop ladder it replaces. It feels well made and makes it a lot easier to get back on board. The price was reasonable and we would buy it again. 5 STARS

This ladder arrived intact and in new condition inside lightly branded, beaten, box. The instructions are quite minimal, but that's because thats all that is really needed. It is just a single diagram pointing out the 4 holes that need to be drilled. The ladder itself is aluminum all around. Close inspection of the welds revealed no reg flags. They all look neatly, and professionally welded. I would recommend this undermount pontoon ladder.
