Hoping my favorite mascara isn't becoming my least favorite
I have been wearing this mascara for at least 2 years...it's my absolute favourite because it stays on all day, my lashes curl nicely, and doesn't clump when I put it on. That being said, I just re-ordered it from this seller and it's a complete disaster. First, the brush is different. It is shorter and thicker than the previous one I bought just back in November. (See my pictures - The top picture is the new tube and the bottom one is the previous one.) The mascara itself is gross. It's really super thick, clumps when I put it on, and when I screw the top back on a bunch of it oozes out all over the bottle. Either the manufacturer has changed it's formulation and brush, or this seller is not selling the right product. I'm going to return this and hope to find it with another seller where the product is the same as it's been for the years I've been using it!

no mascara is really worth 26 dollars
loved this mascara, but too expensive to buy again. and still doesnt work like other chemical mascaras, hoping to find a better/cheaper natural alternative. ive made my own that works just as well as this made from activated charcoal, a few drops ofc oconut oil, and bentonite clay, and i apply aloe to my lashes before putting it on. you can find tons of natural makeup recipes on pinterest.

Red eyes
I was so excited to see all natural products, as I have contact dermatitis to many chemicals. I ordered mascara, lip gloss, eye shadow and eye liner. Loved this mascara and color. Unfortunately, within an hour my eyes were watering, bright red, itching, burning and throbbing. This lasted almost 24 hours. I did some research and found that tocopheral-a is natural vitamin E with acetic acid added to it aka carboxylic acid, which I am allergic to. There are many articles on the dermatis, blisters and problems with tocopheral-a. This product has vitamin E, but I don't know if it is tocopheral-a, a form of vitamin E that is not natural.I wrote to the manufacturer, Purity Cosmetics, asking for the MSDS/label, materials safety data sheet. It's been over three days and I have received no response to them.Update: I heard from 100% Pure and the lot numbers indicated old make-up. They have since replaced everything I bought from resellers. I am now wearing the new make-up without any problems. I first tested it on my wrist. They use tocopheral alpha and not tocopheral acetate, so I am not allergic.

Just NO...
I have been on a mission to find a gentle mascara for years now. Anytime I wear mascara, the skin around my eyes becomes irritated and swollen. But I had never experienced the kind of irritation as I did with 100% Pure. Based on the reviews, I'd thought that I might have finally found The One. But it was the worst reaction to a mascara I've EVER had. This caused the skin around my eyes to actually blister! Incredibly painful and embarrassing, since they were swollen, red, and blistered for over a week. All those fruit extracts? They might be natural but they are super acidic and not truly gentle, especially around your delicate eyes. BEWARE if you are sensitive.

Good to the end!
After finishing the entire tube down to the last bits I could manage to scrape out, here are my observations:1. This stuff smells fantastic -- it smells like something I want to eat. My guy said the same of it.2. The purple color is very dark which made me happy. I didn't want a Halloween-costume kind of color.3. Because the product is all natural, it will eventually end up on your skin after hours of wear. It will run in the rain or after crying. That never phased me. I was much happier to have a product that was so easy to take off at the end of the day. I never needed special eye makeup remover. I could just wash my face as I normally do. If during the day I noticed that some mascara was on the skin under my eyes, I just wet my finger and rubbed it off. Easy peasy!4. I was very happy with the longevity of the product. Toward the end, was it as smooth as when it was brand new? No, of course not. But it wasn't filled with chemicals or preservatives to get that result either. Toward the end, I added some eye drops to the tube and mixed it up. That helped me get out every last bit of mascara.I'd buy more right now, but I'm trying to go even more au natural and minimalistic in my beauty/personal care.

Win..
A total online shopping WIN..My new favorite mascara.. omg..its smells great first off.. idk how well others can smell it..but I put it on and the smell lasted a couple hours..and then when morning came..I had very little under my eyes..just a quick rub of my fingers and it was all gone. I also got a whiff of it from maybe my pillow..but while I was in bed. A new coat this morning and it still looks good.. doesn't look like a cover up from the night before. I gave 5 stars cause it's awesome but the brush is kinda large in diameter and is slightly goopy on the brush..but as long as you are patient and careful it goes on very nice. The sleeve container it shipped in was super cute on top of the very pretty applicator container. It didn't come in the clear plastic sucked to the cardboard nor a rectangle box. Such a nice touch. I haven't tried being in the rain or crying but it holds up well with my day to day it seems. Will most def be buying again..and trying the other scents..chocolate is awesome.. update.. not waterproof.. lol. And be careful to let it dry before u start doing things. It will get on ur lower lashes and above your lashes ..I dont suggest them on lower lashes..it will get on ur skin and make u look like a racoon. Apply with patients..have patients to let it dry..dont apply to lower lashes..and it's great. I still love it. If your like me and want a chemical free life this mascara will make you happy.

No staying power
I really had high hopes for this mascara, particularly given its price tag but I was hugely disappointed. It comes off so easily! I gave it a good chance over the course of a month, ensuring there was nothing else that could be blamed for its lack of staying power (e.g. my moisturiser) but no, it comes off at the drop of a hat. I've since found another cruelty free mascara that stays on all day, for a fraction of the price elsewhere and this one, sadly, went in the bin.

great for me!
for the life of me I have no idea what im actually allergic to. I gave up on mascara a few times for years at a time but I look so great with it on, decided to try this. Im quite happy :) I was able to use ecco bella (it bothered me red eyes and itchy if it moved somehow to the skin) but this one I actually forgot i was wearing mascara and went to sleep with it lol. I felt great mostly because i scared the kids with black eyes in the morning LOL. I wasnt swollen eye lids red eyes or anything it really was great for me. I keep it in the fridge so I can get a good few months out of it. Im very happy I found something that works without a reaction its a bit thick but i keep it in the fridge to decrease bacteria growth
