A4Tech x7-710BK - Best mouse ever.
A4Tech x7-710BK Oscar Mouse EditorI remember when I bought my first wired A4Tech X7 mouse nearly 15 years ago. At that time, it was one of the best affordable mice one could imagine. Responsive, good sensor, good buttons with a proper click, good quality plastics. I changed my computers since that time several times, including mice.Even recently I owned an affordable gaming model from one of the leading companies. Result? Double clicking after several weeks of very light use, therefore unusable for the simplest tasks.I digged through Amazon and found this one. It is basically the newest iteration of my beloved A4Tech X7.How does it work?I can say, it’s the best affordable mouse you can find. It has an on-the-go 100-3200 DPI regulation using a top led indicator button (colours can be changed, adjusted and switched off completely as well through a simple X7 Oscar Editor application from A4Tech website).X7 has 7 programmable buttons, with an option to create your own macros.Quality wise – materials used are good, the main part is matte, with just a few glossy areas. Matte plastics also help with a sweaty hand problems and I think that it does it better than some of competitors.Sensor used is responsive and moves smoothly. During a few playing sessions I did not discover any issues and I cannot see any difference between this one and double priced mice from the competitors.X7 I which I bought is a wired mouse. A cord used is flexible and covered with fabric. I cannot say a bad word about it.The last thing is that there are no LED logos. I know that it is something that attracts some people, but after using computers for years, I can say that there is no need for such things as a mouse should be a mouse, not a Christmas tree. It looks simple and elegant.Would I recommend this mouse?Absolutely yes. I know that many people buy this mouse as they are being fed up with a big brands mice which became faulty after several weeks of normal usage. I do not regret coming back to A4Tech. There are also wireless A4Tech mice which I also used in the past. They are same good as wired mice.100% recommended product.

great mouse for its price
For the price this mouse is pretty good. Decent optical sensor. And the clicks are very good and responsive. Good for tap fire or semi auto weapons etc. There is also a 15 gram weight inside the mouse that can be removed if willing to take it apart to make it around a 85 gram mouse

Very good quality, comfortable and also accurate!
Very good mouse, for me a bit big, but for bigger hands can be perfect. Landed at my friend's desk finally, I had a smaller version from the same series. But very good materials and build quality anyway + very accurate!

A really easy to programme mouse for a lot more than just gaming, which may just speed up your day
Bought not as a gaming mouse, but as a programmable mouse so I could use the buttons to mimic keystrokes. I use two screens side by side and the overall speed of the mouse and the ability to choose speed (actually dpi but for me as a non gamer this equals speed) I'm certain has speeded up my getting around the screens.Loaded the software from the enclosed mini CD in a few minutes, programmed a few buttons in a couple more - extremely quick to programme the keystroke simulator. Choose the button you want to programme on the picture on the software front page, select keystroke from the drop down ist of multiple programming options, and click on the keyboard key you want to mimic. Job done. Might not seem much, and perhaps it's just me, but programming a mouse button for the Enter key speeds up a lot, eg I don't now need to move the mouse to the "OK" or similar pop ups that appear a lot in Windows based software before clicking to clear the pop up, I can just click the mouse button assigned to Enter, without moving the mouse. You can also set up sequential keystrokes under one button, eg a name, digital signature etc. You can then inspect and change the code. For example I removed the default delays inserted between key up and key down for each key, to speed up the one mouse button press I had programmed to simulate sequential keystrokes.Lots of other options for programming - mouse moves, opening folders, and lots more.I wasn't necessarily expecting much upgrading my basic mouse to this, but the difference has been great
