Good lighting.
The large solar panels on these lights mean that wherever you place them, they will pick up that energy and store it. They give off a lovely amount of light. I have placed them about 3 feet off the ground and now I can see my dog with ease of a night time.

I'm very pleased with this light
Lights up a dark corner of the house well. I have set it so it only comes on when it detects movement, and it hasn't failed yet. I'm very pleased with this light.

every bit as good as a decent Cree / LED torch with great ...
I've been putting off leaving a review for these lights, as I wanted to see how they performed in the North of England in the Winter months. I bought one originally, but was that impressed after a couple of days, I ordered another two via the "Twinpack". These units are small, and at first I was sceptical about how bright they might be. They are bright, far brighter than I expected, every bit as good as a decent Cree / LED torch with great light dispersalThere is a light sensor built in so the lights won't activate in daylight, they will start to activate just as it starts to turn to dusk. The lights have 3 modes, all changeable via a switch on the rear of the unitMode 1, On until you switch it off (Or until daylight comes).Mode 2, At night time, permantently on dimly until the PIR senses movement and then comes on at full brightnessMode 3, Off, until the PIR senses movement and then comes on at full brightness.Once activated the lights stay light for about 20 seconds, but can be re-activated just by moving within range of the PIR sensorI've only used mine in Mode 3, and mainly use them in my back garden to allow me to put my bicycle away at night without treading on slugs and snails etc, and other too'ing and fro'ing from my shed / garage and these have been perfect for my needs. So far they have never failed to work, which means they are recieving enough solar energy to keep them charged (which after trying other types that failed was my main point of concern). We've had little nice weather here the last month with it being mostly cloudy and rainy (With a good couple of large storms thrown in). I've read other reviews for this type of light that mention that they let in water, because of this I've been keeping an eye on them and so far even though they've been thoroughly soaked, none of them are showing any signs whatsoever of water ingress. They are easy to check as they only require one small screw to mount them.
