Had to salvage spare hole plug from old switch. Switches virtually the same.
Switch worked no leaks used teflon tape for reused plug in spare hole. Doped inlet and outlet holes as well as pressure gauge.

Replacement for Harbor Freight pressure switch
This switch was from a Harbor Freight compressor and it was Harbor Freight that told me where to find the replacement part. Original part had a defect but it was quickly remedied and replaced by the Seller. Part installed and working great. Thanks

Compressor switch
Identical to original switch, changed some fittings over from old one. Fit a 20 year old Nikota compressor perfectly.

Fits Harbor Freight Compressors with BSP Threads
If you have a Harbor Freight air compressor, (like my 2 HP, 8 Gallon, Mdl 95386) chances are, this is the switch you need. I gave up on the Harbor Freight Parts department after receiving the wrong part three different times while trying to get a replacement check valve. Their failed attempts sent me looking elsewhere. What's important is that many of the Harbor Freight air compressors use British Standard Pipe (BSP) thread fittings instead of NPT (American) thread. These are often shown like "G1/4", "G1/2", or similar. Probably the most significant thing about this pressure switch is that IT DOES HAVE 1/4" BSP threads, NOT 1/4" NPT. It would be really helpful if the vendor stated that the fitting threads are BSP vs NPT. I found this info in the review/questions for this part. It is a big selling point for Harbor Freight air compressors. The product I received is made with adequate quality for the price paid. A small adjustment to the pressure range (for my personal need) was easy. Out of the box, cut-off was about 115 PSI and cut-in was around 90 PSI. Can't go too wrong for the price.

This is for Harbor Freight Tools air compressor.
My HFT air compressor started leaking a while ago. It got so bad the tank would not hold enough air to fill a bicycle tire. When I searched for the leak, I found that it was from a faulty rubber diaphragm on the power switch assembly. I called HFT parts department, and they told me they didn't sell just the diaphragm, I had to buy the entire switch assembly. The funny thing is, HFT did not sell that part. They gave me a link to the part on Amazon. Weird.BTW, I was having an issue with the compressor cycling by itself (faulty power switch, and leaky air tank). I got the part in a couple of days, slapped it on, and have had zero problems since! This part was the only thing keeping my air compressor from going to the trash dump. I'd say that makes it a great value.

The part I ordered from Amazon is obviously the exactly same Chinese garbage that came off of it (yet the box
Here is what you need to buy for a China Fright 47065 (Harbor Freight 47065)... It's an exact replacement. Threads, fittings, 100%. If it wasn't junk it would be all you need. For future Googlers, I will add this statement: "Harbor Freight 21 gallon 2.5hp / 4hp peak air compressor pressure switch unloader valve model 47065 direct replacement"Part number on the box is B00F3DFJ32 (which brings about 40 relevant Google results so maybe you can buy one locally or elsewhere). Another number on the box is 100391059 (which leads to nothing)... And, of course, the sticker that I'm giving you the numbers off of is covering ANOTHER sticker and I can't remove it to read the one underneath it clearly... Scumbags. This is why my next compressor will be a pricey Quincy that is made in Ohio (which I can drive to and raise Cain if something messed up) and not a $150 compressor made in the People's Republic of China that is a giant POS...Speaking of... Why 3 Stars? The part I ordered from Amazon is obviously the exactly same Chinese garbage that came off of it (yet the box, and the part, has no country of origin indication... Obviously the people selling it had a lot of pride in their work... I'll also add that there is no UL or CE listing on this ELECTRIC appliance... So if it burns your house down you're s*** out of luck with your insurance company... There wasn't one on my original unit either... So, word to the wise, unplug it after every use...) and OF COURSE, it was also messed up when I got it (so was my original unloader valve on the compressor when I bought it in 2007. I bought it and then moved 150 miles away from a Horrible Fright store, so I adapted and overcame... Or if you're English, I carried on).Anyhow... On this replacement part one of the ports for the cord grips was cross threaded and the fitting for the unloader signal line coming from the check valve was loose. I'll be needing to exchange it.... SOO... Like all Chinese garbage, order 2 if you're in a hurry, and if you're not in a hurry expect problems. I'd like to buy one of these from America, but, you know, I'm not about to spend an entire Saturday driving all over town to attempt to find one KNOWING that they're all made in the 3rd world anyhow. As I said before, my next compressor will be from Ohio, not an oppressive 3rd world regime.I have an email in with the seller (which, of course, isn't actually Amazon despite "Prime" ****3 day!!!!**** shipping from California to Indiana) about getting me a replacement unit sent. I haven't started the returns process with Amazon because my compressor has work to do this week and I don't need to screw around with an exchange... I need an advance replacement. We'll see how that plays out over the next day or so, but my hopes are low... I will update with further information.
