low cost for top quality lower mid cost performance -- fantastic!
To have phase coating, dielectric coating and fully multi coated ingredients for the lens at this price level simply equates to low costing(£100?) for superb low mid cost (£170?) performance which is fantastic. Along with a harness strap included in the accessories and lifetime warranty by the manufacturer is simply the best value for money! For entry and mid level users one of the best binoculars you can select for excellent image quality, clarity and sharpness in the lower mid price ranges.I was lucky to get it when it was discounted at £99! However even at £150 or much less (if you shop around!) it is much cheaper than many other 8 x 32 which has the 3 essential ingredients i mentioned earlier for the lens.In terms of low light performance i would say it does well upto 15 minutes before sunset, but as long as the object or area you are viewing is lit up properly then these trailseekers will perform well into the night! The one thing i do not like is replacing the original green barrels body shell (where the surface patterns gives it more friction and grip) with smoother black rubber shell. Other than that for the price you are getting the best value.

Probably the best value quality Binoculars available
Just received the latest all black version. (10x32)I normally stick with Zeiss for anything optical. Most of the time, there are no shortcuts other than to pay the higher price.Sometimes, a product bucks the trend. This is what we have here.I was toying with the idea of getting the Trailseeker ED version, but at over double the price i decided to take the risk. (Although supplied by Telstraight Ltd, i knew i could return to Amazon if they disappointed)So glad i did!I was worried i would receive the older green version, and not the ones in the pictures. However, all was fine.As to the binoculars themselves. I couldn't be happier. There are no real downsides. They are bright and clear. The build quality is far higher than the price would suggest. No, they are not perfect. There is some slight chromatic aberration. But this can only be seen when looking at very high contrast objects like tree branches (against the sky)However, i'm surprised how close they are to my Zeiss gear, and even they suffer some CA.I have to say i'm only a casual binocular user. And people using binoculars regularly would probably get more out of a more expensive set. You are not getting a £1.5k product for £115 etc. But you would have to be very picky not to like them. You get a lot of extras in the box. I was left wondering how they have done it for the price.Just leaves me feeling that i would have been wasting my money spending more!

Good value around £100, nice body, 10x32 optics a bit soft at edge of not large view.
Also note this 10x32 has only 14mm eye-relief so you aren't going to be seeing much wearing glasses.Focuses anticlockwise to infinity.I like it but I can see when comparing the optics to some of my other binoculars in my little collection that this 10x32 pretty budget Celestron perhaps understandably possesses neither high transmission nor eye popping contrast unlike my Athlon Midas 10x25 which can live happily in terms of optical ability with my overly expensive Zeiss 8x25 Victory or Leica 8x20 Ultravid. This non-ED Trailseeker does have surprisingly good lack of edge purple fringing in most circumstances, glare does not seem a great issue and the colour rendition is surprisingly rich. I also like the compact body and excellent build on this example I received so thankyou Chinese technicians for doing that so well.Could do with a more comfortable neck strap and I don't need the harness thing provided so haven't even looked at that. The case isn't to bad in fact a step up from the most basic. The binocular actually reminds me some of a 10x32 Leica Ultravid HD I used to own as it seems so similarly solid but the Leica didn't even have a smooth focus! I don't like the small eyepiece lenses so much or the short eye-relief but I guess that helps keeps the cost down.I actually initially bought the ED version but did not think it good value at £218 as it showed quite a lot of purple fringes and for me the colour was a bit to saturated and almost sickly and it was not particularly bright or contrasty and so I returned. Then I bought this non-ED version at a much more reasonable price and discovered I was happier with it! I do have other ED binoculars such as 10x42 and 8x32 Viking Peregrines and they are high in colour saturation and fringing also though the 8x32 is not so bad and an impressive model I find and hence why I went for the 10x32 with the Celestron but I imagine the 8x32 Trailseeker would look somewhat brighter and sharper. When I had the binocular out to test on a sunny day, on occasion I did get some very impressive sharp, pleasingly colourful and contrasty views over rivers with water lily's and fields of wild flowers which surprised me for a 10x32 and at one point reminding me of a Swaro 8x25 CL pocket that I once tested. I did also get some glare and softness around the outer edge of the view but when I used my hand to shade the binocular then this mostly vanished. I think it is related to the objective lenses not being blackened at the edges as is the case with higher end models. Otherwise the view was generally satisfactory and useful and I enjoyed the compactness of this Trailseeker being not much larger than a 10x25 though solidly heavier and so based on this positive experience I have now ordered the 8x32 which I expect should be even better in terms of sharpness, brightness and contrast and ease of use with the slightly longer eye relief and larger exit pupils. Edit: Have since received the 8x32 and apart from a few little dust spots internally it is very good and probably a better all-round model than the 10x32 and more compact than my Peregrine 8x32.If you don't have to have a 10x32 then I would suggest best going for the 8x32 (it actually has better larger eyepieces compared with the 10x32) or like I did, get both 32mm non-ED versions for less than the price of one ED version that I wasn't impressed with.

Muy buena calidad en general. Recommend.

Great binoculars for the price
I purchased the 10x32 version, and was very impressed with the "clearness" of the binoculars. I have several pair of "mid price" Steiners, so I use those as my "baseline." I consider Stiners darn good binoculars for the price. You get what you pay for, and you're buying solid equipment. My 10X32 Stiner binoculars were about the same price as these Celestrons, but the Celestrons are clearer. Heck, they're clearer than my 10x42 Stiners, and I'm not sure the light gathering of the larger tubes is significantly better than these 32mm Celestrons. When considering performance for price, I choose the Celestrons. Not everything is perfect. The dust caps fall off easily, so always ensure they're still connected. Do not walk off without checking to see if they're still attached. The neck strap seems to slip out of the "buckle" after a week or two, so I started tying an overhand knot after feeding it through the buckle. No idea on the durability of these binoculars, and no idea if they will hold up as long as my Steiners, but these Celestron binoculars are my choice for clarity in the "lower mid-price" segment. If you are in the market, these are excellent. I give them 5 stars.

Gutes Produkt.
