Fire hazard!
First off, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this toaster oven! It is perfectly priced for one of the best, reliable, great-working toaster ovens on the market. Seriously no complaints! I rarely use the convection setting because I am not good at it, but it cooks super-fast and even.Clean up is pretty easy and honestly, at the price, I keep it clean all the time but when I end up moving I just donate it and buy a new one at the new home. Saves time and hassle moving a big ol toaster oven and then I get a brand new clean product for under $100.What I found on this last move however, is something new that I did not see in the past. A bit of a fire hazard in the packaging.I do not at all remember there being cardboard wedged inside the bottom before. But now there is a piece that is there to l hold the bottom slide-out tray from rattling I guess. When I first got the latest oven I set it on bake at 450º for ten minutes to burn off the coating and what not. I always do that. This is my third 9now fourth) of this exact toaster oven.Well, number purchase three ended up with cardboard on fire and billowing smoke! Totally my fault as I didn't even see it in there. I set it and it caught fire. I barely got it out...man fire is STRONG STUFF and spreads like...well...fire! So BE CAREFUL and remove ALL the packaging.I don't love the manufacturer's decision to put this hidden cardboard in there. It really is a hazard and should have a yellow tape that hangs out the door or something if they are gonna put in sneaky fire traps. In the end, we are the ones that should make sure we remove all packaging. But still...they could be more aware and not build in the danger. My toaster oven was probably OK, but I tossed it anyway and got a new one. Just too much chance of damage and future issues. So out $90 on this one due to my lack of effort.Again, fantastic toaster oven! But don't be a dummy.

Oster Sunbeam A+ Toaster C-Oven
One day in on this model, long time Oster user of there Toaster/Ovens & blenders. Amazon delivery a huge plus over SpaceBound on Amazon or eBay since they use Fed-Ex which in my case doesn't work because I work M-F 8-5 & miss Fed-Ex shipments that SpaceBound uses & demands the buyer be home to receive shipment. Fed-Ex does not allow changes to delivery to a Fed-Ex store and say it has to be your address & you at home. Spacebound got there Oster back from me, also they don't put the Oster box into another plain box like Amazon does. Amazon left it at my door in a gated community with Ring.com doorbell camera securing the plain brown Amazon box.Oh yeah the product is awesome looking, built well with front pull-out crumb tray & easy to use dials. The chrome does make the little black letters needing a closer eyeball to see but after a day I'm used to it. The timer needs to go to 20 minutes & backed off for less time to be used, not an issue. The brand has done that for years, I'm used to it. They say toast on the upper of the two shelves puts the shelf in the center of the oven and makes the toast a bit out of view in the back because this is a roomy machine, goes way back, back, back...hah! Another big hit for my home, totally satisfied!

Quite good
It's a good size and it's easy to get things in and out without burning myself. This was an important requirement for me and is not to be taken for granted in toaster ovens. It seems well made and sturdy. I looked at some very expensive alternatives which felt like pieces of junk and had practically fallen apart on their display shelves. I'm so glad to have knobs instead of electronic displays - fewer things to go wrong - even though they're hard to read.I don't have any problem with the outside getting too hot. Doesn't the outside of every toaster oven get too hot to touch? Since it's so easy to get food in and out of, I haven't burned myself.Another feature that toaster ovens no longer seem to have as a matter of course is a crumb tray. This crumb tray goes in and out very easily and all the crumbs come out with it. I've had other toaster ovens that I liked very much, but I had to use q-tips and canned air to get the toast crumbs out of crevices. That isn't necessary with this one, which is a great advantage.I'm pretty happy with it, but there are some negatives: As many have mentioned, it's difficult to see the dial settings; it doesn't get hot enough; it comes with only a strange broiler pan, but luckily I have saved broiler parts from other toaster ovens; there's room for two racks but they only give you one. You have to remember where you like your toast setting because there's no separate control for that, but it's not hard to get used to that.I should mention that buying an open box item was a mistake. Some pieces had broken off and some were missing. Amazon compensated me, but I wouldn't do it again for this type of appliance.

Great little toaster.
Gave the microwave to the thrift store and replaced it with this. I think I use this more than I ever did the microwave. I no longer have to turn on the big regular oven to cook something small. I love the convection. I have used it for meats, burritos, foods from a bag such as poppers, french fries, eggrolls, cookies etc. Very happy with it. I searched and researched forever, and settled on this one. I wanted one that didn't have the non-stick coating inside (this one doesn't) so not toxic. It also has the timer and the convection. I just set it where the microwave used to be on a stainless steel cake/bake stand. It does get hot so be careful with little ones (we have been fine and we have a 1 yr old running around, just teach them what hot means). Make sure there is enough room behind it/around it. Large enough where I can put a regular casserole dish in to cook.
