Q: Can someone confirm whether this unit is top-fixing, and does it come with the fittings required for top fixing?

The latest version of these seats come supplied with bolts that detach from the seat during installation. They have a threaded portion that is affixed from underneath with a nut and a wing shaped washer. Sorry if there is a correct term for this? There is a small spanner supplied that fits in a slot in the bolt at the top. If you get your hand above the soil pipe and hold the nut you can tighten it from above. The seat is a quick release. By pressing two buttons it slots in and off the bolts. Mine was a warehouse deal item and the nuts and washers were missing. Hope this helps?

No seat has to be fitted before it will work ................suggest you get a plumber to fit
