Found!
So very glad to have found this product! I know they are simple things but I couldn't find them anywhere locally for ages and my home is old with old plumbing. No need to cause unavoidable problems with piles of lint, etc. These do a remarkable job of catching same! have a portable camping washing machine, too. Putting a few in my camping gear, too! Can't hurt!

Life saver
I use them once a week on our washer drain and it picks up a lot of lint. Saves you from a lot of drain clogs. Easy to install but I bit more time taken to remove them. Worth the slight hassle. Will be buying these again.

Fabulous!!
Our washer drains into a laundry sink. The drain on that sink became clogged and we had to call the drain guy. After he cleared out the drain he suggested we get some sort of mesh filter "sock" for our washer's drain hose. Found these on Amazon; ordered them; installed them; love the job they do at keeping fabric particles and other debris that comes out in the wash from going down the drain! These are a very wise and worthy investment!

AMAZING!
I had no ideal lint is more abundant in the washer then a dryer, lint not good for septic tanks, these lint traps prevent lint from reaching septic tanks and prevent septic filter from clogging. Each screen slips onto the drain hose and included are zip ties to keep the screen secured. Change out every few months or depending how much laundry is done. You can find them at your local hardware store but the cost for one or two is equivalent to bulk price on Amazon

Best deal for lint traps
I don't know what it is with my Inglis washing machine, but it pumps out lint like crazy. It drains into a large laundry sink and it was plugging up my drains and sink. I started using these and they solved my blockage problems. They do not rust like some reviews say, the seller says they are using a new material. They are easy to change out when they get full. They catch the majority of the lint but some finer bits get through as with all lint traps. Some people double them up to reduce the size of holes. I have used other brands and they are all very similar, except here you get more for a lower price with less packaging(all in one big bag, which is great). I use them in conjunction with a little plastic device called the Lint Trapper USA which fits neatly into the hole in the sink and it catches any fine bits that get past these lint traps. Now I'm a happy camper and don't have to snake out my drain any more.

No more plugged drains!
We were plagued by plugged drains, until we tried this.Works like a charm, however the traps need changing after about 6-8 laundry loads. These metal ones also seem more effective than the plastic version - I think lint sticks better to metal. So, buy lots!(Only works for drain hoses that empty into a sink).

Lint strainer
This strainer works well, however it takes a few days for it to plug with lint and requires replacement or through cleaning. I was looking for something a little more user friendly in terms of filter replacement
