I still haven’t found a suitable steel string for my 5th string BUT must say that this set has good balance on the uke for string sizing across all ...
I bought this set for my Beltona Tenor resonator ukulele. It’s a custom 5-string uke, all single courses, tuned A G C E A.The 5th string, to add to this “standard” steel GCEA set, is proving difficult to find an appropriate guage for -so I have been delaying giving any comments about this set. I still haven’t found a suitable steel string for my 5th string BUT must say that this set has good balance on the uke for string sizing across all 4 strings. My uke is much louder than with tradtional strings - with quite a different sound - more like a mandolin or something ! A good different ! Will buy again. I wonder if they can suggest a suitable 5th string for this low A ?

Spare steel ukulele strings
I wanted to get hold of some spare strings for my 8 string baritone electric ukulele. These seem (at the moment) to be fulfilling their usefulness "in this manner" and "at this time".I shall also be using them on one of my 4 string cigarbox guitars. This is the one that is tuned to Spanish tuning in the key of G, so the regular tension of these strings will be ideal. The strings fit into my spare strings bag as if they were made for the job and I am delighted that I bought them....

incorrect length of 2 strings for a baritone ukulele
The strings were supposed to be for a tenor or baritone ukulele but the D and G strings were too short for my baritone uke. The B and E strings were ok. My baritone has a standard neck length and I would have assumed that the manufacturers would "get it right".

Doing their job.
I bought some of these for a solid body electric ukulele I have which though Tenor was one I was going to string DGBE as I play a baritone generally.Anyhow these strings fitted ok and sound fine as they are fairly new on I'm not sure of their longevity nor how long they take to bed in proper as when new strings are on they do tend to be a tad bright and sound better in a week or two generally. For now though they are fine..tension is great and they aren't bad on the fingers at all..the transition from nylon has been fine. All in all ...for the price they are performing at this point as I would want them to.

Steel uke strings
They're ukulele strings. They're steel. They've got ball ends. That's what I wanted.

Killer product.
I work as a contract killer and needed a cheaper alternative to cheese-wire. I'm very pleased with the results that I got from this product. I have no idea what a Ukulele is, but if it can have a child's eye out, I might give one a try!
