Not bad, sort of a pain to install but it works, be careful once on, laptop slides all over
Keep in mind this does not cover the inside of keyboard or mouse area. When received it looks overwhelming but wants you get the hang of installing it works. Lots of small pieces and very sticky. But once you get this on, it is on, 3m sticky surface and it is on there and if you try to take it off, it will tear and break up the wood. Overall pretty cool and it makes my Surface Laptop look like its part of the table. One thing, this makes the bottom very slick and slide all over the place. I had to buy some sticky feet to stop all the sliding around of this laptop once I added this wood wrapping. Price on Amazon is about $50 higher than on the Toast website.

Worst thing I’ve ever purchased. Buyer beware!
Ruined my $3000 surface book. If you buy this, bust know it will never come off.The manufacturer states this is removable. I spent 45 minutes with a heat gun and then another 5 hours trying to get the residue off. NOTHING gets that residue off. Goo gone, rubbing alcohol, abrasives. Nothing.Maybe if I had tried to take it off the second I applied it, like they do in their video, it might come off. But after a year when you want to sell your device, fooled into thinking The skin would help protect it, they might as well have used super glue.

Overall good, just sticky
I must say i REALLY liked the feel and look of this. It was great! And it definitely made my system standout amongst other Surface Book, or any other laptop for that matter. The only issue I had was with the adhesive. The cover is made to extend all the way to the end of the device (which is should) but the adhesive went out to the edges as well. This resulted in the sides of my surface book being tacky/sticky everytime I picked it up...not a good feeling. This may have been something that would have just worn off over time (or in the very least got less sticky as dust got stuck to the adhesive), but I decided to send it back. For what it's worth, it removes from the device pretty clean/easily as well.

I love wood. and the quality of this product does not disappoint. I'll rate the fit of finish of this as 98/100Can be removed and re applied incase you make a mistake.

Beautiful Cover
I love my cover. It is beautiful and provided the look I expected. The cover is sturdy for what it is. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is so that it would draw your attention to the fact that it is a wood cover and is not intended to encase your computer for full drop protection. I did not understand that at the time of purchase (which could be my fault), but am still very pleased. It sticks on, and is very, very nice, but it is a thinner, more skin-like application rather than a protective case. There are lots of hard-sided sleeve-like options to use in conjunction with this cover.

A sad.. and expensive..disappointment.
I love the look of this product and was willing to spend the money as the new laptop was my 35 treat anniversary gift. If the side piece had not broken so easily I'd've been really happy w it. Now it's either take it off or continually get poked or snagged by the broken unfinished edge sticking out. I paid over $100 and this happened in the first month. I'm sooo disappointed.

looks nice, a bit tedious to install
It looks really pretty, although installation is a bit tedious. I didn't get it _quite_ right but it's close enough that it works. You can only tell it's off if you look closely at the camera, etc. where you can see things are slightly off center.

Completely in love with my Cover
So far i am in AWE with this product. The cuttings match perfectly and you must be very careful with it, but well worth it.My surface boom 2 is now a Sexy machine.The best part, it smells like a pencil! So you know the wood is real.
