Don't expect tournament-quality hooks and lures at this price, but everything here is very usable.I've caught fish using everything from a key to an espresso spoon as a sinker, so I am confident that thisset will get the job done. In the grand scheme of things I will keep it as a backup for the inevitable lost hooks, rigs and lures that I use which cost more.This is an absolute steal at its current price, and any defect or damaged part of the set should be overlooked given that price.Recommended as a backup, and an excellent starter kit for older children.

My kids were attracted to the bright colors, obviously, and I think the fish were too. They seem well-made and the hooks are sharp. Grab your poles and bobbers and head out for some fun!

It seems like a lot of pieces, but each hook, sinker, and bead is in that count.It reminds me of one of those kits you get when you by the Snoopy push button rod for kids.Yes, it has some hooks and weights and worms and lures, but it is mostly just cheap stuff. You can still catch fish on stuff like this, don't get me wrong. So maybe ok for a youth starter pack. So if that's your aim, you might be ok.Otherwise, I'm sorry to say I cannot give it more than 3 stars.
