This is a generous package of 80 butterflies. They're a great value.These edible butterfly toppers are really pretty, delicate and they're also edible. They're made of rice paper, they don't have any taste. They melt quickly in your mouth.Because these toppers have no taste, they won't interfere with the flavor of any baked goods or frosting. I use a little bit of frosting to attach these type of toppers.These toppers are a beautiful decoration that's suitable for just about any occasion. These butterflies can be used on a children's birthday cake, at a gender reveal party, on any birthday cake, an anniversary celebration cake, or even on a wedding cake. There are multiple toppers of the same size, attaching 2 or 3 together can give a bit of a 3D look.These edible toppers are very affordable. This set of 80 beautiful butterfly toppers was under $10. These come in a variety of beautiful colors, mostly pastel, and a couple of sizes. Most of these butterflies are just under 2 inches.The information says to use the butterflies within 6 months of opening but there's an expiration date on the package that's one year later. I'm guessing the recommendation is for once you've opened the package and the expiration date printed on the package and applied to an unopened package. The recommendation makes senseThese delicate rice wafer products might start to break down depending on how they're stored, the levels of humidity, etc... It's suggested that they be stored in the plastic container they come in, and then they suggest the container be stored in an airlock bag or container.That makes sense.If you're looking for something special to give your baked goods a little something extra and a really beautiful look, these butterflies are the perfect choice.Highly recommended!

Perfect little toppers for my cakes & cupcakes! Very nice quality! The wings are bendable somewhat, so I can position them to look like they’ve landed on icing! 😊👌🏻😍Beautiful colors! The backsides are white! 😉They’re similar to wafers I get at church for the Lords supper! They melt in my mouth, but are sturdy enough that the icing doesn’t melt them!Comes in a sealable container! Not airtight though! My home is very humid, due to our swamp cooler. But I haven’t had any problem with these getting damp! 👌🏻🙌🏼

The butterflies were beautiful. They're made out of rice paper. They did not deteriorate when they came into contact with frosting.

I used these for a baby shower and people couldn’t believe they were edible. Obviously not a great taste but for I needed them for, it worked out great!
