This lid fits the old arctic tumbler and seals better than the original. The seal on this lid is VERY tight. I was having leaking issues with my old lid that came with the arctic so I really like the tight seal. I do notice that the rubber seal will slide a bit if it's super tight on there and I go to pull it off. Just happens every once in a while probably when it is less cool and the metal expands slightly. Doesn't really bother me, I just slide it back up. I hand wash mine every day and have had it for about a month. I used to put my old lid in the dishwasher and I think that's what cracked it so if I were you I'd steer clear of the dishwasher. Very happy with it, would purchase again. Also, just got an email from the seller saying they will send you me a new lid if I have any issues. Just one of those courtesy emails after you buy the product. Pretty sweet

I bought this cup because it has a designated hole for a straw vs the lid that same with my cal which had an open mouth with bump-out for the straw and no way to block water from pouring out when you angle the cup to take a drink. This lid is great by having the option to plug up the straw hole or the open mouth. The lid fits perfectly and creats a good seal. Only thing I don't like is if your cup falls over, your drink will spill out so it isn't fully leak-proof but none of them really are.

I love this style lid for my 30 oz Zeti-style (but generic brand) tumbler! No more spills when I lean over to put things in my car. I use a bigger plastic straw that creates a super snug fit in the straw hole, which I like. One warning, though: If you use a bigger straw like I do, make sure you have the plastic flap open to let air in when you put the lid on after filling your tumbler. I forgot to do that the first couple times and water shot up through the straw because of the vacuum seal!

2-22-19 Update regarding the tab falling on my nose when drinking. I figured out that if I keep the little rubber stopper in front of the tab, it keeps the tab from falling forward on my nose---problem solved. (I'm embarrassed it was so easy a solution.)Cleans more easily than the original lid. Only four stars because the tab won't stay up when drinking, it keeps falling on my nose.To get a water-tight seal, apply the lid with the tab/rubber cork open. After seating the lid firmly, then close both openings.

I really hate the sliding cover lid my 30oz North tumbler came with. It was hard to clean, didn't stay in place when tilting the cup back to drink, and it discolored quickly with coffee. Oh and a sharp piece broke off and I almost swallowed it.This solves the problem! I like the quality and feel of this lid. Honestly there's nothing I'd change. It seals better, easy to clean, and doesn't move or get in the way of your nose when taking a drink.Highly recommended

This is absolutely the best lid I have purchased so far. It seems that this lid was designed based on all the negative feedbacks. Super strong vacuum seal. Straw lid if you would like one. Air release if you choose to tip to drink it. I will definitely buy another when this one breaks, but that should be a long time from now.

I had to order and return this item twice. It shipped fast and for perfectly. However, it didn't come with the closing latch that was shown in all the product photos and reviews and was mentioned in the detailed description.
