L'Oréal Paris Feria Pastels Hair Color, P12 Lavender Dusk (Smokey Lavender)

I love it! My hair was mostly white on top, darker underneath with blonde ends. I grew out my natural color just to try the pastel look. It says on the box not to use on grey hair - don't listen to it. It looks fantastic on grey hair.

I decided to try this out as an inexpensive way to add lavender to my mostly white hair. It was easy to do and resulted in a more subtle color. The first time, I just applied the colorant to some of the strands of hair. It lasted about three weeks This time, I used the all-over application process, and--as I had suspected—the color varied and I ended up with what amounts to highlights, rather than a uniform color. Exactly what I was after.

I bleached my hair first then applied the color for about 10 minutes. The dye looked a little dark when applied which is why I didn't leave it on longer. I absolutely love the result!! Update- the lavender is still going strong 2 weeks later. Washing your hair often and lots of Sun exposure will fade the color faster. I'm buying more to keep my hair this color. I've been dying my hair over 10 years and this is one of my favorites ever!! I really don't understand all the negative reviews unless those people did not properly apply the product.

Love the Lilac and Pink best. Love the way it highlights different parts of my hair. Some parts light and some darker. Hope L'Oreal keeps making these colors for a long time. Not quite permanent as it does fade but so does most of the colors I used to use.

Wasn't happy with it at all. I lightened my hair waited the 14 days to use followed the directions and it only colored parts of my hair. Why? idk the part that did color was very light and pretty hard to see. so I waited a couple more weeks and tried again without the bleaching just reapplied on top of the other. decided to leave it on longer this time and got a really neat looking purple but was hoping for the lavender. better luck next time I guess. I would give it one more try at another time but not for a while. And definitely make sure you lighten your hair to the lightest

It worked fine on the front of my hair where it is very\white...the rest of my hair it turned auburn. Yew!

Perfect toner ( if you don’t mind purple for a week or two). I love this color sooo much and am devastated that it doesn’t seem to be in stock anymore. I slap it on freshly bleached hair and it fades from a lovely ashy lavender to a perfectly toned blonde. I hope it’s still being made D:

I used this before and was underwhelmed by the color, but decided to give it another try in case I did something wrong or got a bad batch. Looks like I didn't. I was pretty careful about following directions and maybe even left it on a bit long but the final color is once again only a slight dusty pink tint rather than the lavender shown in the picture.

This is the strongest, stinkiest hair colour I've ever used! The colour is not true though. I had my hair bleached out to a very light shade of blond - even lighter than the lightest picture on the side of the box. The result was not a "smokey lavender" at all. I applied 2 boxes as I have long hair and had more than enough product to completely saturate my head, so much that it was nearly dripping. The colour still came out almost patchy in spots: silvery and a darker purple shade that didn't really represent "smokey lavender" at all. Even coppery near the roots. The fade out was fast on this PERMANENT shade. I waited a full week before the first wash, used a sulfate free shampoo and still had purple running out of my hair.

This was ok. I am naturally blonde and have a lot of gold in my hair. The colour of this made me a dark ash blonde which was ok, but the purple was just a tinge, you couldn't really see it much, its very subtle. This will not work on dark hair at all, it must be very light. I gave it a go, it lasts for several months.

I found this hair color easy to use, low odor and the color takes well, mainly on my grey hair. The hair on the back of my head, which is still brown, didn't take the color as well, but the front and sides look good.

My hair was balayaged and wanted ends to be pastel color, however all the product did was bleach out my dark hair and ABSOLUTELY NO COLOR took!! Only ruined previously unlighted hair!!! Have been working prof for last 10 years could not believe how disappointing this product was!

Before the rinse I had very white/gray hair. The rinse was just what I wanted. The colour is subtle.Have had a number of positive comments. Will use it again.
