Back of House Ltd. Metal Dredge Shaker with Handle & Stainless Steel Lid, 10 Oz. – Restaurant Quality Dispenser

Started using this to dust the bottom of my bread loaves with rice flour before baking which helps alleviate dark bottoms on the loaves. Have tried several others and the mesh tops were all too small in size to allow the flour to sprinkle evenly. This is the one for that! Great product for the way I'm utilizing it.

I received this stainless steel shaker just before Thanksgiving. It is heavy duty with a handle that makes it easy to grasp and hold. Having arthritic hands makes it hard to grab onto some of the cooking items that I need. This shaker is being used for Kosher salt because the holes are larger than my other one. I decided to start using Kosher salt because so many of my recipes are calling for it. I am using my older one - had it for over 12 years - for pink Himalayan salt. Both salts are excellent to cook with and to enhance food. Back to the shaker. I can highly recommend it for a variety of products - especially powdered sugar to make your food appear kind of magical. Five Stars !!!

Though I have been looking at these for a while, I finally bought this one. It all came down tot he handle for me. I wanted a handle that would be comfortable to hold and use over long periods of time. The o lot complaint I have about this is when it comes to removing the lid. Everything eWorld perfectly, the pouring, the putting the lid on and off when it is clean and empty. However, once it has been used for a little while the lid is tougher to put on and off, unless it is cleaned again. Which is not normally a problem when I empty it. However, there are times that I open it for a better pour instead of making a new batch of the spices inside.

Amazing, it has little holes in the top and when you turn it upside dow, salt magically flows out of those little holes at the top. WOW! It's SALT SHAKER. Old fashioned styling helps it fit in with our farm motif because we live on a farm , I think.

I have not tried to wash this dredge, but unsure as it could possibly rust. It seems to do the job well and so far no problems with the lid itself. It screws on and off easily. Great for dusting baked goods with flour. I like the handle really well. Seems to be fairly well made. I would be really careful cleaning the inside due to it being somewhat sharp on the edge of the container. I really like it and would buy it again.

Very cheaply made. It is NOT restaurant grade material. I kept it because the price was good and wasnt worth returning. It works ok though. Just remember...it is NOT a restaurant grade or commercial grade salt shaker.

This is one of the items I use every day with no regret. Easy to clean, and I like the neatness of this product, well design.
