Feiyutech G6 upgraded version handheld gimbal for Gopro hero7/6/5/4 with Adjustable Tripod and Extension Rod

Excellent improvements on the G5 2nd edition. Delivered very quickly and does its job very well once a few setup problems were solved. The wi-fi connection on my gopro hero 6 had to be set to 2.4dhz band before it would connect. The G6 and gopro then worked very well using the G6 controls. I was initially confused by camera mode settings from the G6 mode button but some emails to supplier who then contacted a Feiyu engineer helped solve the problem. The problem for other UK users is that the oled screen shows the US settings even though the gopro is set to UK language. This appeared to cause a problem in setting video frame rate to 25fps for UK PAL standard as the oled showed only 30fps(the US standard). The Feiyu engineer told me to choose the 30fps anyway and the camera then changed to 25fps. I then tried other settings and where appropriate the G6 selection of US equivalent changed the gopro to equivalent UK setting. There is a list of the US/UK equivalents in the gopro manual which helps choose the correct one. On my hero 6 I could also change frame rate on the gopro screen anyway if needed. Perhaps Feiyu will sort this in a future firmware update. Overall I am very happy with the G6 as most of the G5 problems are now resolved.Update: After reading the other review regarding the length of 26650 battery problem for G6, I contacted GUEDIEO88 who in turn contacted Feiyu regarding the Battery. It seems Feiyu and Zhiyun companies have made the 26650 a unique length to prevent use of other 26650 batteries which could damage the G6 electronics. The unique 26650 batteries should be available in the UK soon and if you have a G6 you should only buy batteries manufactured to the Feiyu and Zhiyun companies specification. I should add that customer support regarding my queries has been outstanding and very fast, both from GUEDIEO88 and Feiyu.

The media could not be loaded.  Motor vibrates Heavily when performing tilt and roll motion. Feels like it’s going to jam and start smoking. Doesn’t connect to GoPro 8 so the record button and mode selection button is useless. Every time you turn it on you have to recalibrate the roll axis as it always 1-2 degrees off which gets extremely tiresome.

Just bought this pack and it's great. So far, everything is working well, without any problems. Delivered in time, no issues at all.

I've just bought this gimbal (not from Amazon on this occasion) and I'm really happy with it.However I just want to alert people to an issue I've just discovered. The supplied Feiyu Tech 26650 battery is 65mm long at it fits the gimbal exactly. I bought another make of battery as a backup, thinking all 26650 batteries would have the same dimensions but it is about 3mm longer and will not fit. The end cap of the battery compartment has a fixed contact, not spring loaded so there is no leeway at all for a longer battery. I have now done some further checks and it does seem that most 26650 batteries are longer than 65mm.

After extensive research, I decided to go for this gimbal. It’s simple to use, fantastic quality and I would definitely recommend. A spare battery for prolonged periods would be great.

Unbelievable machine. I recorder on my GoPro brs1 warehouse launch day and stability and versatility of this gimbal is just breathtaking.

Calidad de acabados y autonomía muy buena. Si usas una GoPro Hero 5 Black el mejor resultado de estabilización lo lograrás activando la EIS con FOV medio. Si usas FOV amplio, la estabilización no es tan buena. Con cámaras como la Hero 6 y 7 Black la estabilización mejora mucho incluso en FOV amplio, pero este gimbal funciona mejor si activas la EIS en las cámaras. Una cosa que me ha gustado mucho es la posibilidad de hacer timelapses en movimiento, por lo que el trípode incluido en el pack es esencial. La carga tarda bastante si cargas con el USB del ordenador, ya que el USB del ordenador solo da 5V a 0,5A y el fabricante recomienda un cargador de 5V a 2A. Otra cosa que me ha gustado mucho es la posibilidad de cargar o alimentar la cámara mientras se usa, para cargar la cámara tienes que conectarla al gimbal, y el gimbal debe estar encendido. A mi me gusta esta opción para poder hacer URBEX y estar encuadrando el plano en la pantalla siempre encendida. El ángulo del eje ROLL permite ver la pantalla perfectamente. La cámara puedes montarla de 2 formas distintas, pero una de ellas tapa el botón de encendido, así que esto es un poco problemático en la Hero 5 Black pero no en las 6 y 7 Black, ya que puedes encenderlas por comando de voz. El joystik funciona muy bien y es configurarle, y también puedes enlazar la cámara con el gimbal y controlarla desde el si la enlazas por Wifi. Para obtener un mejor sonido la mejor configuración es Audio Manual - Solo Viento, o bien puedes acoplar con un poco de maña un pequeño micrófono conectado a la cámara mediante el adaptador GoPro.

...aber app für iOS funktionier so gut wie gar nicht - nach einer Woche hat sich die hintere (vordere) platte des gimbal gelöst - wurde ohne Diskussion ausgetauscht.

Ottimo bundle. Il Gimbal risponde molto bene alle sollecitazioni e stabilizza con precisione le immagini con un peso molto gestibile. Lo utilizzo con GoPro nero 6 ed interagisce in modo perfetto . App per smartphone semplice e comoda soprattuto per timelapse e scatti a distanza. Qualità materiali da top di gamma. Batteria si carica velocemente e garantisce un utilizzo ben oltre la durata della cam. Valigetta per il trasporto spaziosa anche per fotocamera ed altri accessori .

Reçu aujourdh'ui donc pas encore le temps de vérifier en détail chaque mode de stabilisation. Pour le moment très satisfait de mes premiers tests réalisés avec une caméra Sony HDR-AS200V. Connexion avec mon smartphone en bluetooth OK avec l'application Android téléchargée sur le suite de Feiyutech
