Affordable and easy fix. highly recommended
I've been trying to find a replacement key for my 2014 Citroën DS3 for a week or so since I bought it because although I like the DS logo, i hate the shape of the key fob and it was also broken and wouldn't flip out. I found this key for regular Citroën C3's had the same code on the inside as mine and looking at the cost of replacement keys thought I'd give it a go.It worked perfectly and was very easy to do. I did one before for my VW T5 but this was even easier as I didn't even need to get the key cut at a local key cutting place, it just needed the pin knocking out and switching with original key which fit in perfectly.highly recommended, don't pay dealer prices just give it a go or ask a friend/family member that's pretty handy if your still uncertain.

Easy peasy
Wanted to replace a worn out key fob on a 2013 Citroen C3 this did the job,it took just a few minutes the hardest task was replacing the small bar that secured the old key blade that was a little fiddly but manageable.Very pleased with the whole result and saved me ££££,s

4 stars..Good but just not quite perfect
Why did you choose this product over others?:4 stars..The item was a really good replacement for my Peugeot expert 59 plate key fob..the instruction video was a great help..Key fob seems sturdy, and a great match..the only issue, was that the tiny pin hole didn't quite line up with the old key, so I couldn't knock in the small plug..I added a blob of superglue in the hole which seems to work...perhaps this could mean the key becomes loose in the future, we shall see

Poor quality
Poor quality the key catches on the plastic when you close or open the key. Also the little pin that holds key blade in is hollow so gets damaged if you remove blade to put your old blade in. Waste of money

Great replacement
Just the job, my blade broke off my key and this was a perfect recplacement. Advise to watch the instruction video as it's very good - getting the pin back in was a bit fiddly!

WAS ABLE TO TELL TIMPSONS TO FOB OFF
2014 C3 Picasso now has a key fob that retracts and looks great. Switched the internals about following the instructions was easy. Removed the square Citroen logo plate off the old one and glued to new one. So cheap and avoided having to buy one off Timpsons for a ridiculous amount of money. DIY option 👍

Not Perfect, But a Much Cheaper Alternative – With Some Effort
I bought this GZXNKEY CE0523 key fob case replacement because my original Peugeot key was both cosmetically and functionally worn out. The matte finish on the new case was a welcome change from the shiny, worn look of my old one. My main issue was with the spring mechanism in the old key that flips the blade out—it had failed completely—and the rubber buttons on both my original keys were bulging out.Since my local Peugeot dealer quoted over £230 for a replacement and a nearby locksmith wanted just under £120, I decided to give this more affordable option a try. Externally, the cases look nearly identical (aside from the damage on my old one), but internally, they’re different.I initially planned to swap just the front half of the case, but the internal molding wasn’t compatible. I then tried to reuse my original blade. Removing the roll pins from both keys was straightforward using the included tool, but when I attempted to install my old blade into the new housing, I discovered that the pin holes didn’t align correctly. Without the pin in place, pressing the flip button sends the blade flying.Neither the original nor the included pin worked due to this misalignment. I ended up modifying the pin hole with a rotary tool to get it to fit—a fix that may not be for everyone. In hindsight, if I had just had the included blank blade cut to match my original key, I likely wouldn’t have run into this issue. The blank blade does align properly with the new housing. I was just trying to keep costs as low as possible. For most people, I’d recommend having the included blade professionally cut instead of trying to reuse the old one.Once the blade was secured, I transferred the circuit board from my old key into the new shell. Just a note—this replacement only fits key types where the button cell battery is attached directly to the circuit board. To finish the look, I also added a pair of self-adhesive Peugeot logo emblems to the back of the key. These aren’t necessary but do help it look more like the original.I've uploaded comparison photos of the old and new keys to show the cosmetic differences. I didn’t think to take a photo of the pin hole misalignment during the repair, unfortunately.Final Verdict:Would I buy this again? No.Do I regret buying it? Mixed feelings. It took some DIY to make it work, but I saved a significant amount of money compared to dealership or locksmith prices. If you’re comfortable with small tools and don’t mind tinkering, this might be a viable low-cost fix. Otherwise, it’s worth having the blank blade cut properly to avoid hassle.

A robust and inexpensive replacement for your old worn out key fob.
An easy and inexpensive way to replace a worn out key fob. It comes with the necessary tools to exchange the blade and circuit board from your original key in less than ten minutes. The quality is good, very robust compared with the original manufacturer’s item.
