The thinnest is chrome and the thickest is the red, brass, and green ones on the top in the photo. That is left to right. They are in order from thickest to thinnest from top to bottom in each row in the photo.

Why isnt there a guide to tell you which string is which like high e low e so on and so forth

These are cheap sets with no packaging probably to cut cost. I wouldn't recommend these unless you want them for when you break a string. Or a home practice set. Know that these are short scale. If you are familiar with changing strings, you shouldn't have much trouble telling which is the low e and the high e.

As long as most strings. Your strings last longer if you wipe them down after each use.

The strings are not labeled, how to tell the difference for each string?

If you are not familiar with changing string, I wouldn't get these. They are in order in the package from smallest to largest. If you mix them up, then the only way to tell them apart is with a pair of measuring calipers. You could put a piece of masking tape on each string and write E.B.G.D.A.E or 1 to 6 (from smallest to largest) on each string being careful not to mix them up. Otherwise, get a different brand that is labeled.
