IFB 6 kg Fully-Automatic Front Loading Washing Machine (Elena Aqua VX, White, Inbuilt Heater, Aqua Energie water softener)

This is my second IFB washing machine. I used the first one for a good long 17 years. It was repaired three times in that period. Twice to replace the heating coils and once to change bearings and bushes. I decided to buy this model because of its simplicity and electro-mechanical control. Installation was quick and was arranged by Amazon. Its now three months and its working smooth and quiet. The IFB mechanic offered a Low/High voltage cut off device with MCB for Rs.1250. Since I have this already in my house wiring, I didn't take it. I recommend installing this unit with any washing machine since it also provides a 10 seconds delay that can protect from surge voltage.

Product is good and currently working well but during installation the representative is pushing to sell additional items like stabilizer and water softener (already built into machine). Would be good if manufacturing company provides advance notice before purchase regarding these extra items - which will add another Rs.3000-4000 to the total cost of the product. I refused to purchase these additional items from the rep and dont know if it will adversely affect product performance in the future.

This is my first washing machine. So I cannot compare it with any other type or model. But after few days of research, I decided to go with Elena Aqua SX. This sits in the middle of IFB washing machine models. If you need a 6Kg IFB machine, then this is the best option presently. The Steam model doesn't sell that much I think.It has a built-in heater (options for both warm & hot) and a built-in softener for decomposing hard water, which is great as I live in an area, where only hard water is available.There is also option of "Rapid Wash" for less soiled clothes, which reduces wash time by almost 40%. Quick Wash option is also available. Sufficient modes are available for operation.The photo in the listing is of old 800rpm model, but I received the newer 1000RPM model as mentioned in the name.

My machine is in Warranty and it has not been working for more than 4 months now. Technicians have visited more than 8 times, replacing parts. It is still not working. No escalation mechanism in IFB Service, that works. They close my ticket without resolving the problem and ask me to raise a new ticket every time. Have called IFB Customer support several times. No one has solved the problem yet. No response to E-Mails!!!

IFB Elena Aqua SX 1000RPM Front-loading Washing Machine (6 Kg, Silver)I have ordered this product on OCT 27 for 22,300 Rs after 10% discount and I may get additional cash back as 10% from CITI and mentioned date of delivery on 29th OCT and it got delivered at the time which I choose, Excellent delivery by Amazon.Packaging was good and no damage to the product.I called IFB customer care for installation and they took 3 days , installation was done on 3rd NOV after mutiple follow-ups with IFB customer care. Technician has explained all features and suggested some products to buy from IFB like Water Softener, Liquid to wash and Stand I said I will buy those later if required.I tried my first wash with some mix of clothes Jeans, T-shirts, Track pant etc... and after wash I can see the result as expected , overall I was very happy.

I purchased and got installed this WM on 20th July 2018. My decision to go for IFB was mostly influenced by two earlier purchases (Parents & In-laws) which went well. However within a month now, the spin and rinse functionality has stopped working which has come as a shocker to me. Raised a complaint with the IFB customer care who sent in their technician on 18th August 2018. The issue is attributed to a circuit board issue, which he said, will get it replaced the next day (19th August 2018). However he calls me an hour before the scheduled time stating that the spare is not available and will take 2 more days.So my initial experience hasn't been good and hence giving it a single star. (Doesn't deserve even that actually)Advice to IFB:1. Ensure an error free product for continuing customer loyalty. If you can't do that, atleast ensure the after sales backs it up without giving rise to these concerns.2. Publish your senior folks email IDs for customers to escalate. Customer care, being only the touch point, will not help in appropriate oversight.ThanksVenkat

Gud product..can go for it.. But I'm not satisfied with the service provided.. IFB people are more concentrated on selling other IFB products but not on the actually one we bought.. I have called IFB customer service multiple times to fix the stand (extended cords provided along with washine machine) even after multiple reminders I have not got any proper response.. So make sure everything is fit properly before the service provider leave..

Don't purchase online. They are missing out so many stuff which you ll come to know in seller store. But if you are very much familiar about the product then you can go online. And order all the products before that installation guy arrives.You should have a compatible water tap. else you have to buywashing maching should be place max 1.5 metre away from tap else you need a 3 metre pipeWashing machine need a dust cover. you have to buy.if the model is LDT, you have to buy liquid detergent.You have to buy stand so that u can clean your room properly.All together Accessoried ll reach 4000 rs. So be prepared before purchase. So bad of IFB. They are also not instructing anything in advance. But they are manufacturing everything for sale.
