A great deal for the money , an excellent upgrade over assorted ear monitors
Background----------------I consider myself an audiophile , having jumped from in ear , over ear ...etc monitors in pursuit of finding what my ears please .Design & Comfort------------------------The Omegas are a design breakthrough and for majority of the buyers the design will work .The monitors themselves are cylindrical and of a smooth aluminium build with metallic drivers at the end , they fit perfectly into the ear . However , depending upon the earbud you use any in ear monitor could pop out every now and then which also effects the isolation .The Omegas come with comply foam ear tips which will conform to your ear and ensure a perfect seal !I think this is a huge plus !Besides , the fact Brainwavz is providing them bundled is a respectable gesture .As you glance down lower onto the cables you'll notice the Separater and the remote .The separater performs a single function which the name suggests , as well as they should . However you will see the wires tangle every now and then and it really comes down to how you treat your ear monitors .Coming to the remote , The Remote is another selling point of the Omegas .I am in the habit of tucking my earphones into my shirt with the ear monitors coming to my ears from behind my neck. If you can imagine this you'll realise how helpful this method is .It allows for me to keep my phone in my pocket at all times while I attend calls / play or pause music etc with the remote. The microphone is also encased within the remote console and it's a placed so that it rests near your mouth . Again a bonus !Further down is the angled 3.5 mm jack .It does a great job of remaining hooked to your phone , on certain instances it has played the role of a harness to my bungee jumping iPhone .While that isn't the recommended use , it's a lovely by-product of the angular design .Sound---------I have previously used the CX180 II from Sennheiser , Philips Action fits , JBLs etc but my last monitors before these have been the apple EarPods that come with the iPhone . I'll touch upon why this detail is relevant later on .Now sound preferences are very very subjective ! It is the sole reason why you'd call someone a "bass-head" or an "audiophile" etc .Depending upon your last ear monitors and your preferences the Omegas can be a downgrade or an upgrade .It is definitely an upgrade if you've been using the stock ear monitors and it definitely can pin down the CX180 II which is considered the face of best budget earphones .The Omegas favour most frequencies but not the extremely lower ones , this detail may even be overlooked by someone who is over their 40s since they become inaudible as you age also it's a very minor difference which will usually not affect your listening experience .But , coming from the EarPods that can reproduce sounds from 5Hz , I could hear (or more aptly "not hear") the absent frequencies .The Omegas have a very balanced sound and neutral sound which usually is a downer for bass lovers .Remember I said I'll touch upon the EarPods detail - I returned the Omegas .Yes , I did .It was solely because of my own tastes in music , I bought them in the first place because they are absolutely irresistible for their price ! Really you're getting more than what you pay for !But you cannot really compete a Rs. 1k monitor against another that costs Rs. 2.3k just like you cannot have a boxer of the 50kg weight category compete in 70kg round .It's downright unfair and illogical .That said , I let my sister know about these and she bought them for herself .She seems to love them !What you'll see here is that sound preferences are very subjective and the Omegas will definitely suit a wide array of musical tastes , even though they didn't click with mine .Other technicalities-------------------------This is where I'll make sense of what is written onto the box , very few people actually understand these fine details .This is mostly for them .Omegas have an impedance of 16 ohms , easily reworded into the resistance of the wiring is 16 ohms which means they'll drain less battery than other monitors rated over 16 ohms .16 Ohms is at par with the CX180 street II and other good budget earphones .Next , the sensitivity is 98 dB at 1mW .The number against dB is indicator to the loudness of the monitors .98 is pretty decent and will keep your ears safe while providing satisfying sound levels , as you keep going up the loudness increases so does the risk of permanent hearing damage .The CX 180 street II can be considered a more louder over these , but I doubt you'll need that much volumeThe cable is a good 1.2 metres and really is adequate unless you're keeping your source further than that . Why would you do that ?The drivers are 6mm dynamic driversWhich provide clear and powerful soundgiven that these are in Ear monitors . Selling points-----------------------------1. 2 year warrantyYes ! These come with a 2 year warranty which as it is a huge plus for the customer but also represents the manufacturer's confidence in the build and quality of their product . Thanks Brainwavz!2. DesignAs covered under the design section , the Omegas are a design marvel from top to bottom . One under stated design plus is the tactile "L" and "R" on the monitors which will surely not require you to flash lights in the middle of the night to get each monitor in the right ear. It's super convenient.3. Assortments"Oh my god !" , precisely my reaction on unboxing the Omegas .Besides the monitors themselves the box comes with: 3 ear tips for different ear sizes ( standard, I know ) ,1 pair of ComplyTM Foam tips (google the price bro! This will give great respect for Brainwavz as a manufacturer )1 shirt clip1 Velcro Cable tie (so you don't have to mince up the cables )1 instruction manual and1 warranty card ( for 2 years , have I mentioned ?)I hope the review helps you make a confident purchase of the Omegas and makes your listening experience a whole lot spicier !You can tweet me more queries regarding the Omegas or other ear monitors on twitter at 465deep.Also , please ignore grammatical errors wherever committed .

Brainwavz Omega - An Excellent Choice For the Asking Price
Even though Brainwavz is new to Indian market, it is making waves across earphones/headphones territory.Omega is my second Brainwavz product. The first one is Delta which is still the best at that price point and I've been using it till now without any problem. It's almost neutral with deep, tight and fast low frequency response, excellent mids and revealing highs (with a slight bump somewhere around 4 kHz which can be equalized).Coming to Omega, it is very good for the asking price with 3 button controls and microphone. It is a 6 mm micro dynamic driver (DD) earphone which is decently built (with steel housings for the drivers, strain relief at Y-Split) for the price, has low microphonics and comfortable to wear for a long time without any ear fatigue.Coming to the sound quality, it has got a slight V-Shaped sound signature but with surprisingly clear vocals. The bass is strong, punchy and most of the times accurate and quick. For bass heavy tracks it suffers to an extent. The mids are slightly laid back (like from all the budget earphones) but clean and clear. The highs are rich and smooth and having spikes at some of the 7-8 kHz ranges (may be for my ears).Sound-stage is above average with decent instrument separation and average resolution.I'm not going much into the technical sound aspects to confuse the readers. Simply put into, these Omega IEM is a very good choice and sounds excellent for the asking price. This comes with a pair of high quality Comply S-400 foam eartips which gives a slight advantage over the silicon tips for better sound and noise isolation.I'm not saying anything about the aesthetics as it is purely subjective and you can see the product images on the web.The only con I felt is the below average quality of the microphone. It may work okay in calm environments but could be made better.I used Sansa Clip+, XDuoo X2, LG G3 (without any amp) and FLAC, ALAC, 320 KBPS MP3 tracks for testing the earphone. Happy Listening.NB: Their after sales service is the best. We've heard a lot of praise about Sennheiser's services, but I would say Brainwavz is way more than that. I personally experienced it with them. If your earphone is stuck with any defect (which does not happen usually), just mail them, they will get back to you within just a few minutes or an hour (Yeah, really!) and would be happy to help you. And the interesting thing is that you don't have to go to their service center personally to resolve your issues. Either they arrange a reverse pickup for the defective product or they simply send a new one. And every product come with a 24 month 'hassle-free warranty' (really hassle-free). Consider this as a praise Brainwavz, you guys are very good at customer service. Continue the good work.

A OK product with a 2 year warrenty
Build Quality:Very durable cable. The IEM body connecter are made from metal and is very strong. The Stress reliefs on the buds are marked for R and L.When you are spending this sort of money for IEMs, you expect them to last at-least 6 months; These will last you 24 months at-least and with company warranty of 24 months.Performance:Very neutral sound.Good and quick hitting bass, but don't expect Ooodles of Bass though. You can consider them to be HiFi, so well worth the price. Reasonable clarity and separation for Hindi music, English pop and English rock. Now the Cons,The drivers (speakers) on the earphones are 6MM only and thereby reduce its Bass output quality and quantity. But this is a great option for people to sleep with and also for people with small ear canals.Edit after 11 months:Left earbud stops working and the company has asked me to repack the product and send via courier. I am not able to take up such things as a busy working executive. Please arrange a pickup with the courier or allow us to send you a video of destroying the product with newspaper of recent date.

Excellent quality
I have been using this earphones since 1.5yrs and I am very pleased with sound quality. Everything is perfect except the build quality. The wires do not have any plastic tube for protection and it is very weak. You have to very careful while using and storing this earphone.

Brainwavz omega earphones
Earphones came as described. Sounds great for its price. Also came with noise isolating ear pieces which work great. These earphones look like they are made with quality parts. The cables used are of a good thickness and even thicker than some stereo headphones I've bought from other companies.
