Good packing and timely delivered, thanks amazon.I don't know why people is not giving proper review and ratings to the product.Some people give only 1 star to it, just because the adapter is not given in sealed packaging. Other one gave 1 star because of the power cable port is different(anyone can get the power cord easily from the market within Rs.50). Few people gave a single star, just because of VGA/HDMI cable is missing, what about the product man? And 1 complaint about some line on the display, even on the replacement(both the display was fine, the only problem was in the VGA cable/port of your Motherboard). But no one told about the quality of the product.That is why I am giving my time to write the review of the product.After doing a lot of research, I chose 3 monitors around 10k. This is 1 of them. Other 2 are Samsung curved LED monitor 23.6" and HP 22ES. At first look Samsung will attract because of its curved shape, but that isn't IPS display. HP 22ES has very slim design with IPS panel at the same price of Dell S2218H, but it doesn't have inbuilt speakers. And many people complained about the warranty policy and thoes monitors gave up with in couple of months.As I was using Dell D2015H from last 3 years without any issue, I opted for Dell S2218H.Any monitor around 10k cannot beat the quality of Dell S2218H. The display quality and it's glossy finish are really eye catching.Because of its Full HD LED IPS Panel, picture clarity is awesome from any angle. Its desktop display manager application is also very useful. It will change the colour mode according to the programme you will run. It also has the blue light filter for your eye comfort.Don't think about any other monitor, just go for it. It really deserve more than 5 stars rating. Don't waste your time to do research on any other monitor in this price range.

A good monitor with modest facilities. Almost bezel less, this monitor has two inbuilt speakers. Sound is so so, not so great. Ok within 2 sq m area.The monitor can be connected to PC/ laptop through VGA/hdmi cable. There is a provision for RCA cable for input/output sound ( RCA cable is a must for sound from pc/laptop when VGA is plugged to pc/laptop for display; for hdmi cable the RCA terminal can be used for external speakers or may be left alone if satisfied with inbuilt speakers.)It has a power knob and three adjustment knobs for display, sound, and input device mode( auto,VGA, hdmi) respectively at the right corner just below the display screen.The display quality is good, can be adjusted to eye friendly mode along with many other options. The screen is not anti reflective but does not create much of a problem with normal surrounding lights.At full resolution the screen size however is reduced by nearly 1 cm from the edges each side.Overall a good purchase @9k. Amazon delivery was on time.

Faulty piece there is some black small dots in display in left side bottom.

Picture Quality - Its just wonderful. I like to set the the contrast ratio at 100%, that's when it looks best, in multimedia mode.I like the glossy surface over the matte one that I previously had.Backlight bleeding - Not at all from the front. But at sharp angles, especially from the right side,it is pretty significant for dark images , but that's not much of a concern for me.Speaker Quality- Its far far better than I could expect it to be. Pretty loud volume , but of course nothing compared to big speakers. You can easily use it to watch movies or whatever. You cant expect good bass for such a small speaker, but higher frequencies are pretty good.It just looks great , with very thin bezels.All ports are working fine. You can use the audio out ports for headphones but you wouldn't like to cause its not very accessible. If you are using VGA cable, you need a separate audio cable for the speaker to work.They provide HDMI cable (very good quality , its thicker than the vga cable that I use )only, not vga or the audio cable. I have got all the power cables. The packing was good too.A Build Quality- A small part of the side of the big back cover was kind of loose and it felt like I cold just open it. That's not a problem for me cause I am not going to fight with it.

Color depth is really Awesome and tye viewing angles are really great.Refresh rate is 60Hz ****NOT 75Hz****Response time -Though 6 ms it's not that bad, But it's not meant for Hard core gamers. You can still play games on it.Speaker quality is fine but not loud, you'll have to turn off you fan to listen to it 😅.In my opinion, don't buy this monitor because it has in-built speakers. They may be useless for you if you live in a place exposed to too much sound.I would recommend to buy HP one. If speakers is not a concer.The stand really gives a classy feel.The main problem you may face is while pressing the buttons due to their position, i.e. below.Secondly if you want this monitor to be fitted on the wall, well actually, you can't because it doesn't have a VESA mount.

I bought it a week ago and was confused between Gaming TN panel with better response time or this IPS panel with better colors and view. In the end chose this and relatively good monitor as for casual gamer 6ms is not an issue. However there are pros and also cons.PROS:1) Colors2) View Angle3) Almost Bezel Less Display4) In-built SOUND is superb for a monitor5) Response time is ok6) Budget MonitorCONS:1) COMFORT VIEW mode is pathetic. It just lowers blue color nothing more. And looks weird in that mode.2) Base design is average.3) Buttons are placed at bottom right and they are hard to press.OVERALL 4 STAR.

Un buon monitor fullhd da 21,5" (22" pollici nominali) nativo per un utilizzo generalista che va discretamente bene con le foto ed i programmi di fotoediting e video; sicuramente meno adatto ai giochi pieni di movimento, non essendo un pannello VA ultrareattivo ma non è per questo che l'ho preso. Per adesso non ho notato aloni strani e/o backlight bleeding che è tipico degli schermi IPS. Menu spartano un pò macchinoso da gestire essendo controllato da tastini molto piccoli nella parte inferiore destra della cornice. Estetica minimalista ed eleganza insieme a grande compatezza e leggerezza ma anche robustezza di tutto l'insieme. Dispone di due porte ingressi hdmi e d-sub. Sarebbe stato meglio abbinare hdmi con una porta display port visto che la maggior parte delle schede video hanno questo tipo di ingresso. Lo schermo è lucido ma ha un comunque un efficace trattamento anti-riflesso avendolo paragonato con un Hp da 22" più datato che possiedo essendo quest'ultimo maggiormente riflettente. E' anche multimediale includendo due altoparlanti, e devo dire che si sente decisamente bene per avere degli speaker integrati. Unica pecca a mio avviso è il prezzo essendo un modello del 2017 per il polliciaggio che ha, 22" pollici scarsi è decisamente caro (pagato sui 160€) Il modello del 2018 quasi uguale nella estetica si trova a poco più di 100€. (p.s. mi riservo di aggiornare qs. recensione in caso di ulteriori scoperte durante l'utilizzo)

Brilliant monitor for the price. The picture quality is fantastic.I haven't really used the sound so can't comment on that.It loses 1 star because I have had an issue where it will sometimes make an incredibly loud audio boom/squeal when connected to my macbook. I regularly connect my laptop to multiple monitors but this is the first monitor that has had this issue. The squeal is not coming from the laptop - it just sounds like the speakers are having a fit and I have to switch it off to fix.

Ive given 2 stars which to me means it's ok. Like the fact it has buttons for controls but the speakers are just ok - they don't have enough volume adjustment as I can't get them to go loud enough for what I like - I have them on full and the PC volume on full too, so of course there's no distortion if you can't get them very loud. They are ok though just not up to iMac speakers - (on a refurbished model). Left me feeling like I need to plug in my Amazon Basics speakers which are very good indeed but defeats the object somewhat.Screen very good - nice and slim and I like the IPS and eye saver features cos I often get eye strain - no vesa capability which seems to be the case with the thinner screens - ends up costing quite a bit more to get an adaptor for vesa. IMO you have to mount this to be able to use if ergonomically as the stand only tilts - no rise and fall which I still need even with a riser underneath. Not bad but does not tick all the boxes.

My girlfriend needed a competent monitor for work, and I have had good experiences with dell monitors before. I was stunned with the quality of this screen for the price, and the edge to edge design is certainly an eye-catcher.PROS:-Great edge to edge design-Vivid colours-1080p at 22inches looks very sharp-Very sturdy stand, no screen wobbleCONS:-Speakers, while not bad, sound quite muddy and lack any bass-Controls to change screen settings can be a bit fiddlyIt wasn't long ago that I spent over £400 on a top of the line 24 inch dell ultra sharp monitor (with a much uglier design). It just goes to show what a difference a few years can make, because this is just as good (with a far more attractive design) as a quarter of the price.

Pros: lightweight, easy to set up, instructions clear, very good display and screen....Cons: as with most Dell products, think "good but pricey"? Speakers ok for speech, but I'd recommend a back-up set (which I had already from previous use) if you're going to listen to music; volume output is weak.
