OMG I love this stuff!!! I have bad skin and this covers everything pretty well (better than any cream foundation I have ever tried)! The color match is absolutely PERFECT for my fair skin (I tried the "light" color too, and it was too dark). I am a mix of KVD's lock it liquid foundation (Light 45 and Light 42 Neutral). This "lighter than light" color is spot on! If you want even more coverage, I recommend applying KVD's lock-it powder foundation over top (I wear color: Light 45 in this). I really really like the matte finish of this whipped foundation, I have combo skin and find most cream foundation to be super greasy--- not this stuff! It applies very evenly, I actually like to use my finger for application. I am in my early 30's and am getting fine lines on my face, this doesnt sink into the lines at all, PHENOMENAL formulation!!!!I also like theBalm's "Time Balm" concealer for under my eyes (their "light" color matches me the best). Hope this review helps those with fair skin like me find a good color match!I love the ingredients of the whipped foundation and concealer too, no nasty stuff and no heavy oils (that usually break me out)---No break outs at all with this!HIGHLY recommend!!!!!

I really didn't expect any foundation color, even one called "Lighter Than Light," to be light enough for my super fair complexion, but this one is. I am so pleased. The other great thing is that it takes only a tiny amount to cover my entire face. One tiny dot on each cheek, one on my forehead, and one on my chin, then blend with fingers. You could use a foundation brush or sponge, I suppose, but fingers work just fine. My only criticism is that it is slightly more matte than I like. I've tried mixing it with a little of my usual moisturizer, and that seems to make it a little less dry looking and also makes it blend more easily.

Happy with this foundation. I’m a strawberry blonde with very light skin and pink undertones. I purchased the lighter than light and am pleasantly surprised with the whipped formula. Photos are taken approximately 5 mins apart. I didn’t use primer in these pics, and it is only the foundation; I hadn’t yet set it with any powder. Bit of caution: this does dry quickly so you need to work with it quickly. That said, a little goes a LONG ways.Formula is a nice matte finish. I would say this is best for someone with oily to normal skin. I’m dry to normal and it does tend to find my creases. I only use one layer but could see this getting cakey if more are applied. Overall I’m quite happy with it for the price. It’s just a little thicker than I use for my daily use, but definitely keeping it and using for anything more than just running errands.Recommend.

I ordered the lighter than light shade after initially ordering the light shade and finding that it was too dark for my complexion. The lighter than light is actually too light, so I mix them to get the correct shade. Other than the lack of choices in color, this is the best foundation I have ever used. It lasts all day and covers very well. One thing to note, however, is that skin MUST be moisturized properly. It is not kind to dry skin at all, and too much moisture negatively effects the longevity of coverage. If skin is dry at all, it wears very cakey and gets a crusty look. I moisturize with a light moisturizer and wait a few minutes before applying. I find that primers are unnecessary, and even reduce the longevity of coverage, which is a first for me. I will purchase again, I just wish there were more shade options.

I’m no expert, but this is my absolute favourite foundation. It’s light and creamy but provides great coverage and blends easily. The shade was a perfect match for my super pale skin, and even without setting spray, the foundation stays on all day. And like all Balm products, the packaging is adorable!

I used a whipped foundation by Loreal for years until they discontinued it. I've tried many brands since, but haven't been happy with any of them. I saw this on Amazon and decided to try it. When I received it, I was underwhelmed by the size of the jar. "What a ripoff" I said. It's very tiny. Well, the first time I tried it, I was amazed at how little I needed for full coverage. Just the makeup in the lid lasted me a month! I use it for a concealer too and it works better than anything else I've tried. I know this will last more than a year and I'm so glad I decided to buy it.
