LG OLED55C8 / OLED55C8AUA / OLED55C8AUA 55-Inch 4K Smart OLED TV

This TV had a nice picture while it worked correctly for about 10 hours. Wish I could rate it lower than 1 star now. After hanging on a wall for a few days the TV now has a blacked out section at the top of the screen. Contacted LG for warranty coverage. Although the circus was not in town, LG sent Bozo the Clown out to check out the TV. Bozo immediately says “physical damage” is the problem. It could not be anything else and that is not covered under warranty. I asked how the TV could have sustained physical damage hanging on the wall in a quiet place. There have been no recent earthquakes in the neighborhood. Bozo asked if I had thrown the remote control at the TV or if someone else had. Children are long gone from our household. We do have a small Terrier. Could he be a suspect? Bozo attempted to change the aspect setting on the TV so he could take a picture but did not know how. Does LG get these highly qualified technicians in Clown Town? After a lot of wasted time on my part, LG backed up Bozo's diagnosis and would not honor the warranty. LG would not listen to reason as Bozo had spoken. LG did not return phone calls or honor my requests to speak to someone with an actual brain. Could not get past first level employees who answer the phone. LG has the worst customer service EVER. The warranty process at LG is broken which is probably intentional. Research shows denial of warranties to be a common practice by LG. LG saves $ millions. Guess if the audio had gone out it would have also been physical damage. Think twice before buying any LG products...then buy from a company that will actually honor their warranty. I've learned my lesson the hard way.

Excellent TV

When I walked into a store and looked at older models and this one, there was no question at all, what is better. The picture quality on this tv is so remarkable, the blacks are amazing! The only thing I wish for is for them to add more internal storage and have bluetooth connectivity not just with select keyboards, but any.
