I would put this in a laundry bag to wash it, then air dry.Outside fabric is stitched nicely and durable.Zipper is quality and did not have any difficulty closing or opening.Inside is lined with a satin like fabric.Not waterproof. So, if you put liquid in it make sure you put it in a baggie first.Great size for a girls start up make up kit or for anyone’s overnight bag.Listing did show a little satin bow adhered to one side. When the bag arrived, it did not have that little bow. Not a dealbreaker just want to inform.
