amazing sound at an amazing price
Got a price alert on my phone for this bluetooth speaker... marked down from 139.99 to 39.99 so I said why not... I had purchased a much less expensive speaker several months ago which was 'adequate' but didn't have reviews like this one. All I can say is the difference is night & day. The audio on this device is nothing short of spectacular. Rich, crisp, and 'accurate' is the best way to describe it. I just got it so I can't speak to battery life but I am definitely impressed. Going to pass on my other speaker to the kids. The build on this is impressive as well. The speaker is heavy so you know there's alot going on inside - the carbiner and cord accessories also show alot of thought. I'm thinking I'll have this one for a long time.

Amazing output at a steal
I ordered a pair so I could listen and enjoy great music and podcast on my phone. Sound quality was top notch. It looks so well built, a bit heavy and also feels so good. Paired seamlessly with my phone. I was impressed with the sound quality, so I ordered two more. Thankfully, my phone has the dual audio feature which makes it possible to connect four speakers but paired as two. I strategically positioned all four speakers around the house, just to get a surround sound system effect. Can't really talk on battery life for now but my hope is that they hold up.

Worth what i paid?
So i fell into a trap motivated by an article that said Amazon was selling this at 71% off @ $40, so i bought it at that price. Two days later it’s $59 with msrp of $61. Definitely not a $200 speaker and barely with $60. So $40 was about right since i was expecting close to Bose quality @ 71% off, it was too good to be true.I am going to keep it and give it 4 stars based on the price i paid, would give it 0 or 1 if it was listed at $199.Plays jazz and easy listening music well but don’t expect boom box level party music.

Good Sound
I like the ability of these to hook together and be used like actual stereo speakers. It is a little fiddly to set up but they have a good record of hooking right up when started, over and over. I really am satisfied with them.

Great sounding affordable speaker
I like that it feels well made and durable. It has a great bass output, and clear crisp audio. Definitely a good value. Connects to Bluetooth quickly and is easy to set up and use.

Decent sound, but poor battery life and no IPA rating on the box
I got this Speaker in a timely fashion. It came with A "D" ring, A USB C charging cord and a short 3.5mm patch cord. I am one of those strange people who read the box and the instructions before playing with anything. Before I used it, I fully charged the unit. It said not to use a "Rapid" charger due to possible battery damage. Even though the unit itself has a USB C port for charging (and I don't think my USB C charging bricks exceed the maximum wattage) I hunted down my USB A charging brick, and waited. Pairing was easy, and even though there is no battery level indicator on the unit, I was able to see the battery status (100%) on my phone. The sound was very good, and commensurate with a higher wattage speaker. The description on Amazon said the battery would last 1000 minutes (That translates to about 16 and a half hours), but further down the revised description said 15 hours. That would be O.K. for me.... 15 hours is plenty. The speaker itself, when I took it out of the box was a little heavy; but in a good way (Large battery and solidly built). I was also pleased to see that along with the 3.5mm input jack (Those who play guitar using an adapter at the other end of the patch cord, when practicing will appreciate that.), it had a Micro SD slot. I thought those had disappeared with the dinosaurs! For the un-initiated, This means a host can load up a Micro SD card with music that is controlled by the order on the card, and controls on the speaker; then is able to keep his/her phone or tablet with them and walk out of Bluetooth range without loosing the music that's playing on the speaker. NICE! The only problem that I had with this is, the instructions said the unit only handled up to 64 meg. I don't own a Micro SD card that small. Also, the types of extensions (IE: .MP3) the unit understands is pretty limited (although most of the really major ones are supported). I do have to admit, that 64 Meg can hold quite a bit of music. I tried a higher capacity card in the SD slot, but even though the speaker recognized there was a card in the slot, I couldn't get anything to play. No stars were deducted for this, and the limitations of the speaker in that regard were made quite clear in the instructions.Downsides:In the description on Amazon, it said that the unit has a Moisture/Water rating. There was nothing listed on the box it came in to indicate this. I live in Florida and sometimes entertain outdoors. Sudden showers are common here. -1I started the music playing at half volume, and set my phone up a little more than 30' away. The instructions said the Bluetooth range was greater than that by a large margin. Although the music being streamed through my phone played steady for the most part, I did notice some small glitches (that don't happen with my other Bluetooth speakers.). I was working on my computer and listening to Music, when the music suddenly cut off. Looking at my watch, I was surprised to see that only around four hours had elapsed. I checked my phone, and had no Bluetooth connection, When I checked the speaker, It had shut down. Thinking there must have been a glitch, I turned the speaker back on, reconnected to Bluetooth and started streaming again. When I checked the battery level, my phone said there was only 20% battery left. With only four hours into a 15 hour battery, (at half volume) there should have been more than that! Well... Anyway, I was streaming music again. I grabbed a quick drink from the fridge, and as I was sitting down, the speaker quit... Again. I started the speaker again, and reconnected. The Battery was still at 20%. To make a long story short(er), The speaker would not stay on. I charged the speaker overnight and repeated the experiment (This time entertaining guests in the house.). Again... around only four hours in, the speaker quit with 20% battery level left. The battery life stated in the description was nowhere near what I actually got IRL. -1Before I started to write this review, I read what others had to say about this speaker. With the number of comments about the Battery life in the reviews, I do not believe that the seller cannot know about this issue. They have however, allowed the numbers for the battery life unchanged in the description. If there is a work around, or if we as users are doing something that could be addressed to improve the battery life, I have seen no comments by the seller to explain this. Obviously they have allowed this (in my personal opinion) fabrication about the battery life to stand in the description. -1Overall: The sound, although (I feel) slightly muddy in the highs, was really quite good. I can't evaluate the "True Stereo" feature, as I only bought one speaker. The Build quality, look and feel was also nice. The battery performed well below expectations and there was very occasional glitching at range over the Bluetooth connection. Although the distance was pretty much line of site and there were no electronics near the speaker, I will not rule out local conditions. No stars were deducted for this, but I thought that this was worth mentioning. If you are looking for a solid Bluetooth speaker, don't mind a limited battery life and no moisture rating listed anywhere except the description, the sound from this small speaker was pretty good. At 30 Watts it should be able to pump out enough volume even for the hardcore. The poor battery life, and the stats in the description that didn't pan out IRL, made this a bad fit for me. It has to go back for a refund.Recommendations:It would be nice to have a battery level indicator on the unit itself, the ability to handle a higher capacity SD card, and the ability to recognize more extensions. Specifically .AAX and .M4B (Books), .M4a and some of the newer more modern compressions.-If you've read this far, I have to hand it to ya! you sure have stamina! I hope this review helps someone and your listening is always pleasant.
