Top 10 Japanese Whisky under £100
This is an exceptional sipping whisky that stands up high on the quality scale, made in a Coffey still as opposed to being aged in barrels, sweet, very smooth and way way too easy to knock back, you’ll want to savour it and make it last but I suspect that it won’t because it’s seriously moorish. Having researched Japanese whisky relatively extensively this product repeatedly makes it on to the top 10 list across many publications, but don’t take my word for it, go on, treat yourself.

Fantastic Whiskey
My son brought me a bottle of this from our local specialised dealer, was a bit dubious but this is a great tasting whiskey, Amazon have it at a great price too (currently). I have ordered a couple of bottles and one for my father to.Highley recommend this one

Great Whisky, sadly too easy to drink!
Very good quality, showcasing all of the sophistication and quality one would expect from a Japanese whisky; an array of bold grain flavours interlaced with subtle spices, florals and a touch of a saline flavour.Don’t be put off by the word ‘Coffey’ in the description - this relates to the type of still the spirit is distilled in (same still design as used in Armagnac) and there is no taste of coffee at all!The only problem is the whisky is very easy to drink; it is not overpowering or overtly alcohol…it’s very well balanced and can be enjoyed before, during or after a meal.

Good, but a little expensive
It's a good whisky, and unique. However it's fairly one dimensional, a sweet cinnamon spice. Currently Japanese whisky is suffering from inflated prices and £40-£50 is simply not worth it for this one in my opinion. I look forward to distillers in Japan increasing their production though so we can have Japanese whisky at reasonable prices in the future.
