Fridgemaster MCF194 Freestanding Chest Freezer -White [Energy Class A+]

As most places were sold out we found this from AO through amazon and are very pleased with it.. Delivery was prompt although at checkout we could of paid for delivery on selected date but opted not too as it was delivered on that day for free..Freezer seems fine not to big and not to small you can get a fair bit in there at 198 or so litres it's light to move about when empty and easy to unpack it also. Only had attach handle on lid with two screws all supplied and they gents who delivered it were kind enough to put it where I wanted for which I was very grateful so thanks.. I would recommend this freezer and service. Also kept up to date by AO on delivery time and day.

So first of all I ordered this on a Sunday night around 4 pm I was shooting email at 6 pm that my freezer was arriving following day at 11 and 1pm So being the biggest order I was sceptical so 11 am on the dot the following day the freezer arrives wow 18 hours from order and the wife was very happy with the delivery driver who was very helpful and polite Top marks to him , The freezer arrived in excellent condition no marks no scratches superb service its one of those freezers that looks small on the outside and is a tardis in the inside my wife was so happy, overall for the money I paid well worth it looks nice and compact

Pros: Very good for the price in terms of capacity. Iv keep a thermometer in the freezer and on maximum coldness setting it can keep below -30C in a 22C ambient room, which is well below the 5 stars rating which is -18C so its very capable.Cons: no light, so if it's kept in a corner or room it will be difficult to see inside.Also there is only 1 basket which is kind of dumb, feels like buying razor blades, you get the freezer cheap with 1 basket, then to buy another basket will set you back 15-16quid each.

Exactly what I was looking for to go in the garage( not all freezers can go outside). We are quite tight for space in our fridge / freezer in the kitchen so we got this as a backup. Easily stores large amounts of food. It only came with one storage basket and extras were extortionately expensive so I got some cheap plastic baskets from the discount store: they work well. Really pleased with our new freezer and I would recommend it.

Very nice freezer, it's surprisingly light for the size and the only assembly was screwing in the lid handle.It's very quiet in operation and the controls are simple to understand.It was delivered a day early which was a nice bonus.Why not 5 stars? There is a black scratch across the top about a foot long, it obviously doesn't affect performance but is noticeable.

Only one small basket included with freezer. Very difficult to purchase extra suspended freezer baskets as a smaller width than standard is required. When I eventually found some they were ridiculously expensive for what they are, I.e. wire baskets.

Had this a while now, always wait to see how electrical stuff is before doing a review. It’s worth every penny, freezes well, lots of room in it and quiet too! The guys that delivered this were amazing, can not find one fault

It keeps cold food cold. Frozen even. A decent amount of it.It doesn’t make me coffee. It doesn’t walk the dog. It doesn’t surprise me with romantic holidays.But it is cold.
