Very pleased
Coupla' 55+ yr olds, neither of whom had been camping for a LONG time. We definitely wanted to be able to stand. Also wanted alot of interior space in general in case we ran into lousy weather or just wanted room to spread things out and not keep everything stuffed into bags. This tent fit the bill. Also wanted something relatively easy to put up/take down. We're both from the days of canvas Coleman 100lb puppies so this thing was a breeze. Takes us about 10 minutes to put it up, primarily because we just kind of hoidy-toidy our way along...could go lots quicker if desired. Everything is color-coded ie: which vertical poles intersect (and how) with each top pole, stuff like that. Very, very easy although the taller and bigger wingspan one has, the better. I'm 6' and my counterpart is 5'4' and she struggles a bit when holding her side while we put the tent up. She's tough though so it works. We ran into some pretty heavy rain one night and zero leaks (we did seal the floor and seams though - not sure if necessary but...). Two cautionary points: first, the thing is heavy enough that it's not something you'll probably want to truck much further than necessary. Not heavy as in two people needed to lift it out of the SUV - heavy as in cumbersome (kind of like a small bag of cement with handles)...and the bag itself is very good...everything fits and it's got setup instructions sewn on a flap inside. Other caveat is the the fly doesn't really protect either entrance very well (although the two entrances are great to have). When you unzip the doors, they flop inward and carry whatever water is on them or dripping off the fly right inside the tent. We found we just had to unzip with one hand while holding the door flap towards the outside with the other hand and all worked fine. Inside, the two ceiling-mount hanging nets are really useful for little stuff - up and out of the way, won't get stepped on, etc. The are also pockets on the zippered room dividers but when you roll and tie the dividers out of the way, guess where the pockets are - yup, rolled up inside the flaps - oops...useless. There's a loop in the middle of the ceiling for hanging a lantern (cool) and we took the fly off one night when it was super clear - with the top being nothing but mesh, it was truly sleeping under the stars minus the bugs (mostly). All in all, very pleased, absolutely recommend - just wish it had a better fly - might have to rig something up down the line.

Great tent!
Used this tent but during one archery (deer) season so far. Tent seems durable, and has plenty of space for my family of 4..... or just me. Set-up is definitely easier the second time around, but I've put up hundreds of tents. There are easiest tents to set up, but not with the same quality.

Nice and big tent!
We used this tent during a recent vacation to North Georgia. It is very easy to assemble and disassemble. The aluminum and fiberglass rods are of good quality. Two rooms can be divided via a zipper wall. Or left open to create one huge room. Plenty of room to stand if you are around 6 feet. The tent bag is big and you don't have to fight to get the tent back into it again after removing it. The fly is unfortunately too small causing rainwater to drip down onto the sides of the tent. We had a leak the first night we used it and it wasn't even raining hard! I have since sprayed all the seams with a tent sealer and I am planning to buy a large tarp to stretch over the top of the tent to prevent future leaks. Overall a good product with space for 6 people in sleeping bags lying on top of inflatable mattresses.

Not a Hub style tent!
Very disappointed in this tent after it arrived. it was advertised as a hub design and it was not.

Lack of QC Almost Ruined Camping Trip
If I could give this tent 0 stars, I would. I tried to set the tent up in my yard a couple days before my camping trip and discovered it was missing one of those plastic pieces that connects one of the rods on the roof of the tent to one of the larger support rods, rendering the tent useless. Unfortunately, I was leaving Saturday morning and needed the tent by the next day. ALPS Mountaineering messed up by selling a tent that's missing a crucial part. I thought I would have to cancel my camping trip because there wasn't enough time to get a replacement and the queen size air mattress I bought was useless to me because it wouldn't fit in the smaller tent I already have. This was overall an extremely disappointing experience due to the lack of proper QC on the part of ALPS. I've had better experiences with Wal-Mart tents. Luckily, I was able to go to my local REI before the camping trip and bought a much better tent that's about the same size as the ALPS tent. The extra cost is worth the increased overall quality.

Great buy for the cost
Bought this tent for my grandsons hunting club. Already been used in three states and the club loves it. They said sit up very fast and simple. They stated that durability is excellent for the price point and the room available for storage and sleeping was surprising. Let’s just finish by saying that they are very happy with grandpas purchase for their hunting club.

No condensation buildup
Took this tent out for the first time. We went to a Northern California beach campground. There was lots of fog and dew in the morning, and we woke to a dry tent. We had some strong winds around 15 mph, and didn’t have any issues. We put 4 adult size cots on the inside and they fit great. The tent was easy to set up and take down, but you need two people. I love that I can stand up in this tent. Overall very happy with our purchase.

Great family tent
The tent has great space, perfect for a larger family. We have 1 toddler and 1 dog, plenty of room for our son to have his own room (set up his pack n play). The only down side, that we knew when we bought it, this package is a beast! Definitely for car camping only, you would not want to hike this into the woods. But because it weighs so much the structure is very strong. Already been through some strong winds and rain, no issues at all.
