There are mixed reviews on how well these dispensers work. This is the second time I ordered these from Amazon (different sellers) and I haven't been disappointed. My parents had some when we were growing up and my siblings and I thought they were cool. It was less of a need and more for nostalgic value, in other words. But the dispensers work as expected and hold a good amount of q-tips. I like that the clear top protects the contents from getting wet or dirty but also doesn't need to be removed each time you need a q-tip. Some reviewers complained that the q-tips didn't pop up the first or second time they pressed the top. That happens on occasion, but no big deal; keep pumping it and eventually you'll get one.

works great and very convenient way to store qtips. a little fiddly to get them to dispense, but once you get the hang of it it is easy. the plastic top cracked after a year or so, but still intact and works fine even after ~8 years.

I don't know how others got this thing to work - it sure didn't work for us. It jams, nothing "pops up", the swabs get twisted together. I thought maybe we overfilled it, so I counted out only 20 swabs, still didn't work. However, a swab would pop-up maybe once in 5 tries. Tried it with 15 - same problem. Very disappointed, sadly they will be going into the trash.

Okay I remember having one of these when I was a kid. Well my parents had one. It worked well and I remember how I marveled at the simplicity but how well it worked. So I thought it would be great to have one like that. This, for me, does not work the way I remember it working as a kid.What it does is it seems to push on one of the qtips but when it pushed it it get caught by the angle of the top and then ends up bending the qtip. I'm using name brand Qtips not some generic ones. I have tried putting more and less Qtips in but it just keeps bending most of them. The ones that make it out are coming out a .25 inches just barely enough to grab it. I remember as a kid that they came out almost half the way of the total length.So overall not impressed. Worked great for a while. After a few months one stopped working. The second still works but only if full. Had one when the kids were little that did better. Lasted til I took it to Goodwill with a bunch of no longer used baby items. Should have kept the original.

Had bought these when my children were babies - about 30 years ago and still had one. It finally broke. The color on the new ones is better. The old ones were ivory with a clear brown plastic lid. The lid cracked easily on the old ones, but we were still using it all of these years. I like the fact that it gives us a place to keep Q-tips at hand and convenient and clean.Very handy and useful.The trick is not to overload it or the Q-Tips will not come up through the hole easily.

The product could be a little larger in size so it holds a few more swabs. Sometimes the cotton swabs will not come up through the hole in the top without shaking the dispenser. I do not overfill the dispenser so this is not the issue. Still overall it is a good product for the price.

It holds Q-Tips and it dispenses them ... does what it says! Bought it because I accidentally threw out my wifes previous one.Recommended for people who love this sort of stuff. Not impressed that it couldn't be posted to Australia .... I had to setup a US address. I do recommend MyUS.com if you live outside of the USA and need to get stuff delivered, they are one of the most professional and efficient organizations I have dealt with on the internet.
