Kingston Technology HyperX Skyn Gaming Mouse Pad, Speed (HX-MPSK-S)

The Kingston Skyn gaming mouse pads comes in a two pack, one smoother than the other. The smoother one I haven't found to be very useful on a gaming mouse but the "control" pad definitely works better. The only thing I didn't like was that it is a skin for your desktop. You tape it on and it's like a couple millimeters thick. I didn't realize how much I liked having a thick pad until I started using the skyns. Luckily that's just a personal choice and doesn't really have anything to do with the product. Having it so thin makes it hard to know where the edge of the mouse-pad is though.

Great product but be sure you know what you are ordering. These are mouse sheets not mouse (gaming) pads. These are really thin but do work fairly well. If you want a mouse pad then you need to look elsewhere. The sheets are super thin and need to be stuck in place, there are adhesive pads on the bottom. The big con is once you stick them in place you can't really move them and they do need to be taped down. They are so thin that you can't add double sided tape to the same area or you will have a small bump.

These are "okay" I personally like more of a padding feel, but I knew that going into this.They seem to do their job and I like that they are large, but they bend/leave creases VERY easily and they are pretty permanent unlike a pad.Pretty inexpensive so if you are going for a minimal as possible high as that is your preference, these are only about as thick as 5-6 pieces of paper stacked.As for longevity, I would say they will probably last a long time as long as they don't get bent.

I got this mousepad not expecting much. I recently got a new desk where the top main part that is used is glass. So I have to have a pad. Anyway got the product the packaging was simple yet secure and not bend in anyway. I pulled it out of the box and was pretty shocked at how thin it was it really is practically paper thin. So it's more of a surface than a pad so to speak. Anyway I peeled off the backing to reveal a surface that clings to where it is applied. there is no sticky residue or did not leave any mess on my desk whatsover and I even removed it and reapplied it on a different portion of my desk and it stays in place just as well as it did when I first got it. The surfaces are a nice size, you won't fall off of the mat and with the speed + accuracy you really can't go wrong. I use the accuracy since I can just change the dpi on my mouse. I play mostly fps such as halo pc and tribes ascend / fear/ also dabble in outlast and have started getting into LOL. This pad has become my fav over any i've owned and highly reccommend it. It feels amazing.

It's huge and it sticks to things. The surface works for me but the stickiness does not. I knew it was sticky when I bought it but would up not liking it. I give it three stars since it seems tough and the surface is the type I like. Went with a hard pad that I can move around at will.

I was a bit skeptical about purchasing these (I got the 2 pack). I mean for years I've been using a high tech aluminum double sided mouse pad. Well the rubber feet on the old battle axe started falling off and an aluminum pad without feet starts to cease it usefulness on a desktop surface. So I started perusing the pages for a replacement. This guy popped up as a lightning deal and after a bit of reading over other reviews I decide to take the plunge. I'm super happy I did. The surface works great if you're a desktop user and want something that will stay in place. That being said I can't see this being useful to anyone who needs something to pick up and travel with. All being said I think the 2 pack is a good idea for those who are not familiar with the differences in the "speed" and "control". Being an avid MMO player I use the "speed" side exclusively.

The mousing surface is great and these pads are huge, no falling off the edge with these. However and this is major, the glue they used on the back reeks. It's foul. I mean really foul. At work my whole desk area smells now. I couldn't figure it out for days. "Where is that sour milk stench coming from?" I figured it out when I bought a second pad for home. Too bad cause other than that they are great mouse pads.

This mousepad defiantly has a different feel than the cotton/grip mousepads, but it has no bumps, no tears. The overall build quality is nice (then again, it's a piece of smooth plastic, hard to mess up). It's very thin, but I adjusted to it quickly and now it feels better than the thicker cotton or even the thicker plastic ones, almost like it was molded into my desk. It sticks well to the desk as well.The only drawback with it, and with hard mousepads in general, is that they aren't easily portable (cant be folded or bent or they're ruined). This one, being ultra-thin, is even more prone to bending, so if you transport it be sure it's lying flat or is in a case where it won't get bent (the original packaging is good for transport).

I use a 23" desktop monitor with 1920x1080 pixels resolution. I also use a Logitech MX518 mouse with 1600 DPI. So far I use my mouse directly on my smooth wooden desk for the last 6 years, and thanks to this smooth surface, the mouse pads at the bottom have not worn out completely. Since I am planning to take my mouse for use in multiple outdoor locations, I wanted to buy a mouse-pad just-in-case I have to use it over a glass table or a rough steel desk. So I bought this Kingston Mouse-Pad.But after I opened the packaging, I noticed that the item was very thin and very washable - not too bad I thought. However, this pad is monstrous and over-sized! While using my mouse normally for my (above-said) hi-res monitor, there is hardly 2 inches of movement (max.) in all directions, while this Kingston mouse pad measures nearly 9-10" wide which is totally unnecessary and useless!The top surface is quite rough - and it bothers me in 2 ways. One, as you rest your wrist on the mouse-pad while using the mouse, it feels scratchy on your skin as you maneuver the mouse around! And two, I fear that the rough surface of the mouse will result in a higher rate of wear of the mouse-feet at the bottom - that is, the mouse feet will wear out faster.On the other hand, the bottom surface is too slippery and made of a low-friction material, and it may be unusable on top of very smooth desks as the whole pad may move with your hand movements! Yes, there is a removable film at the bottom, revealing a very sticky surface which you can use to pin the pad in a particular location. But I don't know whether it can be removed from this desk and taken to another desk (if it is mobile), and if it is, then how long before the adhesive wears out?All in all, this item is oversized, uncomfortable to the user, can cause wear damage of the mouse feet, and frankly-speaking, too overpriced for such an ordinary product. On the plus side, it is washable and looks durable.I am planning to get a new mouse-pad which is soft and comfortable both to your wrists and the mouse feet for those long marathon sessions, and also have some frictionable material underneath to prevent the pad from moving around too much.I do not recommended this product to anyone.

Devo dire che mi ha stupito un poco ricevere una scatola enorme (sembrava un lettore DVD) per un sottile strato di pastica grosso poco più di un foglio A4. Credo che se si dovesse piegaretroppo diventerebbe inutilizzaiole, teme le pieghe eccessive del trasporto.Lo uso per il lavoro + di 8 ore al dì, perchè il desk è diventato lucidissimo nella parte del mouse e non rifletteva più bene il raggio del lettore.Questo mousepad sottilissimo da nuova vita al mouse. Le caratteristiche corrispondono alla descrizione in più in teoria è adesivo, ma io ho preferito non attacarlo (pinzando un angolino sotto la tastiera) e non scivola.L'ho pagato 9 euro e li vale... ma forse 15 è un po troppo... aspetterò i prossimi saldi per comprarne un altro per casa.PRO:- Migliora il movimento fisico del mouse sul tavolo- Migliora nettamente il movimento del puntatore del mouse- Sottile e non disturba- Non si appiccica alla mano , non fa sudare- Funziona anche da non attaccato al deskCONTRO:- Un poco costo se si paga 15 eur- Teme le pieghe eccessive del trasporto.

Spedizione ed imballaggio impeccabili come sempre. Il prodotto è in effetti un ottimo prodotto. L'intera zona che si appoggia al piano del mobile sembra essere rivestita di colla ma non è così, il pad lo si può tranquillamente rimuovere e riposizionare senza alcuna controindicazione e la superficie superiore è scorrevolissima. Io lo lavo con il resto del mobile con un semplice multiuso e carta e fino ad ora non ha perso minimamente le sue caratteristiche. L'unico neo che gli posso attribuire, ma rimane una considerazione personale, è il fatto che è privo del classico strato gommato soffice che caratterizza il comuni pad per i mouse, questo particolare risulta essere un po' fastidioso dato che in pratica muovo il mouse sul mobile stesso. E' una pellicola, di ottima fattura, ma una pellicola.

I recommend to use it for the demo version...u can set ur hands in it...its good for playing strategy and RPG games...but never play CS:GO in it as u will lose ur aim..its for the frictionless movement of ur mouse which will grant you the speed.But because of the material...X ray plate with one rough sided surface lyk a chart paper and sticky surface on the other side (3 stars)And once again, hats off amazon for the amazingly fast delivery..got it in 2 days (5 stars)

I don't know what these self proclaimed cs go players are saying but this is an amazing mouse pad for the price, looks, feels and works great! at least for my logitech G302, it is a pretty big pad aswell, giving me a lot of space to work but the 4 star is because of me expecting too much at this price point, it's like a thin sticker about 2-3mm thick, but still works great! Go For It!
