AppleCheeks Washable Swim Diaper (Size 1, Anchored)

After some research my wife and I ended up buying this swim diaper. We swore off disposable diapers a long time ago and naturally we chose a cloth swim diaper. We had to argue with my grand mother in law about using it, oddly enough, because she thought that because it wasn't a disposable swim diaper it wouldn't work. These actually work MUCH better, end up being cheaper if you use them more than once, and they're a lot safer. I have heard of kids getting bad reactions to the disposables, terrible messes with disposables, and once we tried the AppleCheeks out, it was definitely reassuring that we made a good purchase.Swim diapers aren't designed to hold in pee, just poop. So, as long as you get the right size, this AppleCheeks diaper will do what its made to do. Wait until you are about to put your little one in the water before you throw this on in case he or she wants to tinkle before pool time. When they get out, put them back in a regular diaper. If you do this, you wont have any problems. They're supposed to fit snug, so you want to make sure it's tight around the legs and waist without going overboard. That was too easy to do with the size chart and the fact that the diaper is adjustable.As a dad and an experienced cloth diaper user, I highly recommend these AppleCheeks. The quality and adjust-ability make these a great buy for the money. Well worth it. Grab two of them if you plan on going to the pool a few times, get more if you go a lot. We bought two and only went a few times and it worked out great.

I love that this swim diaper adjusts small enough to fit newborns and tiny babies, but also grows with them for awhile. It has 3 sets of snaps on either side for a custom fit. It worked perfectly for my 5 week old, apx 10lb baby having it on the smallest snap on one side, and middle snap on the other side. It fits snugly around the legs and back, so i didn't have to worry about any messes while in the pool. Adorable print and great quality. Definitely worth the price as it will fit my growing newborn all summer long. Would buy again.

I thought this would be too tight for my 2 year old who wears size 3 but it still worked! And saved our pool experience if you know what I mean! If she had not pooped that day, I would double the applecheeks swim diaper with a disposable swim diaper and the applecheeks was her outer suit!

I did my research before deciding which reusable swim diaper to get. I've landed on this one. And I completely agree it is excellent. My daughter even pooped while wearing it and none of it came out

I'd highly recommend these swim diapers. We do. It typically cloth diaper, but when we brought our 3 month old to Florida last year, she was too small for any of the disposable swim diapers. So we bought a size 1 in this brand. It was perfect. This year, we got her the next size up. I love it because I'm not having to buy disposable swim diapers (we do a lot of swimming), and it's easy to get on and off.

These are the best swim diapers! My son is slim and it can be difficult to find items that fit him nicely but the generous amount of buttons make these so adjustable! It's so important for a swim diaper to work properly that they are tight but not too much that red marks are made. They are also machine washable and come out looking brand new. I hope AppleCheeks continues to make these, they seem to be going out of stock everywhere...

This works great for my son! We bought it when he was only 2.5 months old and we are still able to use it at 7 months (20lbs). Its much easier than the disposable ones and seems to work better!

Best swim diapers in my opinion. If you have ever had to pull down swim diapers after a kid had a bowel movement in them, then you will forever appreciate the two sided snap design of these swim diapers. Worth every penny especially since they accommodate a range of sizes and grow with your kid.

The swim diaper is light and breathable—although I’ve so far been able to avoid any poo events while in the water, so I can’t comment on their effectiveness to keep the pool clean.

My son is 4months, 20lbs. Fit a bit tight around the belly and loose at the top of his thighs but that was on the middle buttons. Absolutely will be buying more. They’re so cute.
