Very misleading description. Very thin sharp metal that bends in the wind. Vastly overcomplicated build which took 2 of us over 4 hours. Really poor quality. Would have sent it back but Amazon never makes sending large stuff back easy. Massively overpriced. Shoddy. Once built flimsy locking mechanism. Impossible to screw in lot of screws due to bad design. Minus 3 stars

This is actually a good product, sensibly priced. Accepted it does take a bit of time to put together and the instructions are a bit random, but everything lines up and fits well and the end result is a huge metal storage box. If that's what you need, then this is a good buy, but it is massive and a bit industrial looking. You will alsocneed some sort of lining as the inside is just metal.

Difficult to review this item, as the end result was very good, sturdy and very spacious.However, firstly the delivery was not advised by Amazon or the supplier and for such a large parcel that needed two people to lift it, it would’ve been useful to know when it was coming as I was not in, and my neighbour had to deal with itI would also strongly warn that this is very difficult to put together. Whilst the components are relatively straightforward there is a a lot of pre work for each panel before you can even connect them together. There’s also tiny nuts which, when in the open are easy, but when they’re under a lip are very difficult to attach.Getting the box square so that the holes lined up also took some time.Note, the edges are very sharp edges during the build.In fact both of us cut our hands (a pair of gloves is provided in the kit but you would need two pairs and it is impossible to do up the very tiny nuts on the bolts with gloves on.Finally, probably the most annoying part of the build was removing the protective film which was really difficult to take off each component and took probably half of the build timeThe instructions were clear and stated it was a two person build and I would completely agree possibly three would be helpful. I would rate the assembly as intermediate to expert skill level.I am very happy with the end result but never want to go through the build again

Finished product is okay despite product sign on lid being upside down!!) but had I known what was involved in its assembly (and I had read previous reviews) would not have purchased it - would give that element NO stars. I would regard myself as very competent in this area but took 2 of us 3 hours to put together. Panels are very flimsy and mark/scratch easily although not too bad when attached to corner supports. Wouldn’t want to put any weight on top of unit though. Edges are sharp. Getting hinge screws in is difficult unless you have very small fingers. Screwing base to supports struts almost impossible for anyone with shorter arms as you have to reach inside to do it. Lock very flimsy but gas powered arms good. The only thing that wasn’t as bad as expected was peeling off protective cover - not too bad once you have got it started. However we are able to get all our garden seat covers in it.

One Gas strut broken and lid bowed when assembled. Unfortunately, unable source replacements. As other comments it also took a long time to assemble.

Firstly, it will take you an hour or so to unpack and remove the plastic film all of the constituent parts. This was extremely annoying. There had to be some other way to protect the parts from being scratched. Once you’re ready to assemble be mindful that you will need your own tools. Tools are not provided. TIP: Use the cardboard box as a platform. This could prove invaluable as some of the parts are very malleable and scratch easily. Also, note that at times you will need to wear the gloves as some of the parts are sharp. I managed to put this product together on my own but ultimately it wasn’t a pleasant experience as self assembly goes. I would say it was the worst I’ve done,and I’ve done a lot of self assembly in my 58yrs.

Very good just what I wanted

Fairly straight forward to build, (it does need two people) we’re both pensioners and it took us about 3 hours, including a tea break! Worst part is trying to get the protective film off the panels - nightmare! Yes it does have sharp edges but a pair of protective gloves are included.The finished product looks good and is solid, but I wouldn’t recommend it for storing anything too heavy, the floor panel is a bit flimsy. You would have to put something in the bottom to help distribute the weight. Also, the lid doesn’t fully open, but does enough for what we are using it for. Nice looking system. We bought ours to store outdoor cushions, and does the job perfectly.
